You win £180m on the euromillions. Next day you go to Mr Bramall - "Hi, I want to buy DRFC"
What do you do with the club?

I thought you were still cruising round the Med with your Rovers Lottery winnings?

1st of all chance would be a fine thing. 2nd I won’t be that person because I don’t play the lotteries.
So hypothetically if I had £180 million I certainly would not miss £20 million as my starting point as my initial investment over a 5 yr business plan that’s for sure.
I would give DS another million to spend on the playing budget immediately for this window.
See where we are at the end of the season. Take it from there. It’s impossible to say beyond that what you would do. It’s one step at a time no matter how much money you have to spend.
I would be prepared to spend up to £90 million to give the club the opportunity to get to the Premier League.
There is never any guarantee it would be achieved of course but if it was then you could get back your investment in full.
If I lost all the money then it would not be a disaster as I would still have the other £90 million.
How many millions do you need to live very comfortably and secure all your family’s financial future.
I am not greedy so why not spend it on something you care passionately about.
If DS didn’t get us up next season then I would be looking to bring in a manager with a promotion or promotions on his CV. That I can say for certain is what I would do.

Campsall, that is exactly what I would do if I won, walk in and ask how much for the current owners to leave, put 30 million in a trust to fund Rovers and then start to do whatever I wanted, and give money away to things that will improve people's lives, I need far less than a million for myself. I just want to retire (old enough but cannot afford to) go fishing regularly and do the gardening bits I do in my spare time, and pay the bills of course!

I'd like to be a part owner tbh if I won 180 mill. I hav no clue about running a football club or having that amount of money. However you would like to think another mill or so to the current budget would see us having a crack at l1. Steady investments could see you in the championship. Same again there steady investments an you never know. Just think had we invested a bit at the start of the 2nd season in the championship and kept mill's and wellens. Signed sharp, oster and Shackle. That wouldn't of taken huge money and think what that side would of been like.

I’d turn the Belle vue bar into a baddass sports bar. Massive TVs everywhere. Plenty of tables and chairs. Pool table. Dart board. Loads of indie music. Some decent beers on tap.
Subsidise loads of free tickets for kids and parents to try and build our fan base back up.
Demand from my staff we are proactive in transfer windows and be prepared to fund it as I know that would create excitement.
Ban adults creating vlogs. Put your camera away ffs and watch the game.

Make season tickets very very affordable.
Like £100 each for adults.
£50 for concessions and kids.
Interest alone on the millions would more than cover this.
Get the local support back.
Start up a brewery selling your own beer at the club. Employ locals to run it.
Have a proper reserve team setup.
Install under pitch heating.
-
I'd just invest in a proper youth set up so all the local and national talent comes to rovers and not elsewhere
-
Take out an injunction to stop the fan base running the show by committee.

We have a very decent youth set up. Yes we need to get category 2 status so more money spent would help to achieve that agreed.
If you think we are ever going to get “ALL” the National talent coming to us then you are living in fantasy land.
Even getting “ALL” the local talent would be almost impossible.
It simply doesn’t work that way. Even the top Premier League clubs don’t achieve that.

Main thing would be build a much larger training centre with training facilities for local sides in top academy facilities, whether at Cantley park or in a surrounding village in the area.
And I would still want the existing owners alongside as they are great business people if they were willing to do so.
What everyone would have to realise is that immediately the football sharks would start to circle and would want a piece of what you had got, and I would learn to say no much more often.
Give a reasonable amount of money to the playing side for the level we were at and build a club and try and avoid any boom and bust and progress the club forward.

Youth development. My investment. Making the rovers youth development one of the best

Yeah I think I’d try to fill the stadium a bit more with discounted tickets.
Then I’d give the club budget to have a proper U21 team. Fill it with our own youth players and players released from bigger clubs at 18/19. If at a decent enough level this would then feed the 1st team so we wouldn’t need as many 1st team signing that often don’t come off.
