Two games in the Northern Counties East Premier Division (Step 5) have, so far, survived the frost, as they're due to be played on 3G pitches.
Handsworth (Sheffield) v Maltby Main
Hemsworh Miners Welfare (Pontefract) v Knaresborough Town
Games at this level are normally around £6, a decent standard of football too. Plus you can have a pint whilst stood watching the game

Hemsworth has no appeal to me in the freezing fog HG
Staying in the warm with Jeff Stelling for company. :that:

Teams like these won’t have the safety issues that teams like rovers have to adhere to. It would be good to go back to the days where games are mostly played in conditions we would have faced today.
Has anybody heard of that game, I think back in the fifties where the goalkeeper didn’t even know the game had been called off part way through because of the fog?. I know it was for a frozen pitch but the fog must have played a part in the decision.

Yeah, bugger the players' safety, eh?
