In anticipation of todays home game, the first for a while, my mind wandered to some of the special goals I’ve seen scored by a rovers player. The overhead kick at hillsborough sprung to mind. It even got its very own song if I recall.
There has been an absence of special goals of late.
So what was the last one you recall?
Subjective of course.
Could do with a special one today.

At the moment, any goal we score is special as there are so few of them. :chair: :chair:

Andy Butlers header in the last minute at Charlton in the play off semi final.
-
Billy's against Middlesbrough!
-
A lot of them are special because of the situation/game of course.
We've scored some good goals this season, Biggins has hit a good few as has Kyle Hurst. I'd say Biggins at Grimsby was top level.

Thought that goal was going to give me a birthday present I would treasure. Another trip to Wembley to see the mighty Rovers.
Sadly not to be.

Copps Brentford, just close the thread now :-]]

I know we didn't get to see it live but Copps's equaliser against Hull has got to be up there.
-
Tom Anderson’s against Mansfield last week.

Biggins v Grimsby

Colin Cramb at Stockport.

Colin Cramb at Stockport.
remember it well. Nearly knocked myself out attempting to duck under one of those leaning post thingys on the terrace to get to the pitch side to celebrate.. Unlucky to lose that game, if memory serves.

If memory not correct you can blame the Crush Barrier for the blow to your head :)
