Which bright sparks decided to unfurl a black & yellow banner in the South Stand (´Netto Nutters’?) as the teams ran out with Brad City wearing a black & yellow kit?
The city players must have thought they had fans both ends of the stadium.
Well done.
-
Few attempts at Sack the Board at start of game also.

Missed that one, it can’t have been on display long, the chants you expect when they haven’t got a brain cell between them
-
Many questions weren’t answered at the MTO event. I’d certainly expect this element of the fan base to grow. Especially as our season inevitably fizzles out.
-
It was embarrassing, and put to shame by Bradfords banner.
Hope the netto brigade didn’t spend too much of their crowd funder on that. I reckon Bramall will be nervous about that protest.

Wonder if it got made in double art in school this week?
I can't stand the constant bullshit from the board and poor running of the club, but the actual protests are embarrassing and seemingly being lead by the same idiots that still sing about Harry Maguire.

.
The Bradford kit wasn’t black and yellow.
I agree though that their tiny banner was pathetic, especially as they had been chanting what the f**k is that when that giant banner went across the away end.
-
I think all the questions that were asked were answered and in quite depth.
You would have thought that the event would have been packed out with the Harry Potter netto squad. It was even early enough on a school night.
From the west stand the banner was embarrassing.
Genuine question to netto - what are you going to do with the club when you get it, have you a business plan ? Investors lined up to fund the purchase?
Convince me please - I agree that we need more funding but be careful what you wish for
-
It's OK, the crowdfunder will pay for it all!

I for one emailed plenty in that didn’t go answered. Didn’t get a ticket for the event, not missed one yet. Miraculously there didn’t seem to be many available this time around.
-
There were 100 plus left when I got mine
-
It shows the mentality of the so called protest when they unfurl their very small £500banner and try and sing their songs against the best supported team in the league who bring over 4000 with them, not really well thought out. Did the lad with the tripod camera get it into the ground ?
-
I was in my seat in the west stand from about 2.40 ish, the only banner I saw was Bradford's.
-
They had two flags out. One was small, the other very small. Definitely there though, in South Stand.
-
Yes a token gesture I saw it rapidly vanishing after being unfolded and passed around 2 or 3 pairs of hands. It was almost that they were embarrassed handling it

. They should have been. Regards Ray

Who asked them?
Not enough time to ask them, especially when half of the time allowed was given to copps presentation ( it was a meet the owners event, not a meet the coach and HOF event )
Plus it could be, not everyone in comfortable in standing up and speaking in a room full of 200 people.
There should be a facility to be able to ask questions directly to the club / owners and get a response.
Dozens of questions were asked via twitter and email that weren't answered,
( for some reason
-
“Via Twitter and email “ by whom ?
Anyone can ask a question that way including non Rovers supporters
-
I thought I read somewhere that the club would try to respond to questions submitted by email.
-
If that banner cost £500 I feel they can no longer complain at the club not investing money wisely.

It’s almost they got it from netto or wish

They would be sat there all night if they asked every question a man and his dog asked in all fairness, and i'm pretty sure the attendees didn't want to be either

Glad to see another thread belittling our own supporters again! Can we give it a rest please lads?
-
Few attempts at Sack the Board at start of game also.
About 20 fans more than likely, hardly a glazers out protest is it

Correct, and from experience this kind of thing would be open to colossal amounts of counterproductive abuse.
-
Think they’re doing a decent job at belittling themselves tbh
-

I'll give up belittling them when they give up belittling the club. That's fair, isn't it?
-

I’m in agreement that the netto group are embarrassing but believe me mate, there are way more than 20 of them.
-
You say there is way more than 20, but the ones I’ve seen shouting and bellyaching they all look like they’ve got classes in the morning
-
Talking of banners. What happened to the big DRFC one? Whenever we get one its seems to appear for a couple of games then suddenly vanishes never to be seen again.
-
Few-tile attempts at Sack the Board at start of game also.
-

it will not have cost no more than £100 or someone has been ripped off
-

I’m not sure how that restricts them to 20 in number.
Most of them look quite young to me too but there are some older ones in the group.
The two big lads who took the banner away looked about 25 to 30 but they are by no means the oldest.
-

If it cost that, then someone has ripped £400 off the crowdfunders and put it in their back pocket.

Which is what I said .

The Netto brigade did ask a question at the event but seeing as they appear to have a problem with the way the club is run and the owners why did they instead ask how many hours Copps puts in at the club instead of the obvious
-
The sack the board chants were louder Saturday than previously, but maybe that was due to a higher attendance. I didnt get a great look at it, but it looked like clown hats on TB, DB & GB faces.
I think they sent a long list of questions, one was picked out but it was the easiest one to answer from what I saw.
It is a shame the club is split but it links up with other posts on here recently regarding like of entertainment. Sadly the only way this situation gets any better at present is from the pitch and that doesnt look likely. I think the netto guys are younger supporters at the minute.
Next season season ticket sales could be interesting reading comments on here.

FOI requests. 15-20% of which tend to be genuine requests for information, the remainder from people who have invariably already made their mind up about things, don't like like that reality doesn't match what they've come up with in their heads and think that keeping asking the same question will somehow provide the answer they want to hear.
-
If you're serious about a protest you don't need to spend money on fancy banners (or even rubbish ones). Just cut up some bed sheets, get paint from the shed and daub some slogans on. Try and spell correctly and ensure there is enough space for the word you start painting though. But if it's mainly about saying 'look at me, Ma, King of the World' on social media then you just look ridiculous.
I've still got the crappy banner I painted and tied on the barriers at Gillingham for the Fans Utd 2 game years ago. That was a real protest that loads of people believed in and participated in. The issues are still playing out today. The VSC/FSF is obviously all about that movement.

Working in the information department of a large NHS trust I can vouch for this

still have my own made Richardson and weaver leave or die banner in my loft , like you said an old bed sheet and some paint does the job and gets the message across
