Feel for the guy. Clearly out of his depth but then Alex Ferguson would be out of his depth working under this board with this group of players.
We're giving him a bucket of sloppy shit and asking him to paint a masterpiece with it. He could be the best artist in the world but it'll still look like shit. The club is just not run well, simple as that, hasn't been for years and we're seeing the results now.

He needs to go but there’s not much point sacking him now. We’re not going to go down. He should be relieved of his duties at the end of the season no question. Start the search now and get someone lined up to hit the ground running. I type this knowing absolutely none of this is fu*king happen

Get an experienced manager. Give him till summer to assess the squad. Back him in summer. Then make sustainability work from L1.
I know I have no right to demand more money be spent but that, and competent people in charge, are what’s needed. If we are to stay self sustaining then we’re on a doom loop.
Poor performances leads to less ticket sales with no one to make up the difference that means less money on the team. And round we go till we’re playing part time.

I would love to know what DS said at interview to make them think he was the right man!
Did he say he would play 1 up top, game after game, when it was clearly never going to work?
Maybe he promised to make the entertainment so poor that fans would just give up?
Did he have a recruitment strategy that would mean a quick turnaround on the personnel, improving on points gained in the first half of the season?
What was the advantage of giving him the job, rather than an experienced lower league manager?
What was it...the clincher?
How poor were the other candidates?

Just got home and I honestly can’t believe what we’ve just endured.
We’re they 20th in league 2? and their keeper has made one routine save from a Molyneux shot first half and thats it! It’s indefensible.
I get the point that he’s not got great resources but there comes a time when a man should make better of what he has. A blind man can see one up top isn’t working and he’s either too stupid or too stubborn to try something different. I am lost for words tonight.

Coppinger picked this guy before any of the other candidates handed in their CV. All DS had to do was show up to get the job. There is such an avalanche of errors at this club it is pathetic and its just more numbing with each ridiculous so called performance. The owners have given up which leads their employees to do the same and get away with it.

Ok it’s not worked mid game but his plans haven’t worked from the start! The one time he’s showing flexibility it’s in the wrong direction

Schofield bee in charge for 18 games. System he's tried for approximately 1 1/2 games doesn't work so he's going to persist with a system that he's used for approximately 16 1/2 games that still doesn't work. Mindboggling.

I still think this squad of players is good enough to win promotion from this awful league. What’s not good enough is the way they are being coached to play. DS appears to have only one way of playing and this obviously isn’t working. Is he likely to try something else - more chance of me plaiting fog. It’s just utterly boring to watch.

IMHO A decent experienced manager would be able to get a very good tune from these players. They are not that bad TBH Just Schofield with his rigid ideas that ruins it. Reminds me of Dickov's time here. Regards Ray
