Title: Bring a friend, they say...
Post by: Ronnie Dovers on March 18, 2023, 09:01:42 pm
Since COVID, I've brought friends along to about 5 different games, including the shambles of Charlton and Bolton away last season, and the non event of Bradford at home this season, and they're yet to see anything resembling entertainment. If not for the train strikes, I'd have brought a couple more to the Salford game today. I've felt genuinely embarrassed about the team I support after leaving those games. Why would we bring people we like along to witness 2 hours of complete boredom? It's been bad for a very long time now, and something needs to drastically change.

How to lose friends and alienate people.

Invite them to watch a Danny Schofield team.

They ought to update the Geneva Convention to prevent us from bringing our friends, due to the excessive and unreasonable cruelty we are subjecting them to.

Who needs enemies when you have friends like me bringing you to a Rovers game!

I thought it was weird that my friendship circle was quickly dwindling.  :suicide: :s

The way things are going, they might want to worry about supporters bringing themselves, not friends.
