''After the former prime minister submitted what was termed a “bombshell” 50-page dossier laying out his defence on Monday afternoon, sources suggested a verdict by the privileges committee would come after Easter''
''Johnson’s defence dossier is said to contain new evidence that the privileges committee has not yet published. It reportedly contains a message from Jack Doyle, the former prime minister’s then director of communications, showing Johnson was given a “line to take” that no rules were broken that he later relied on when giving the same assurance in parliament''

The only thing that could be manipulated by the privileges committee would be whether or not there will be a suspension from parliament for johnson or the length of it.

Who do you believe sprot, the police or johnson?
''It has already taken nearly three years for the House of Commons to call the former prime minister to account for holding parties during lockdown. The Metropolitan police long ago spent £460,000 investigating him, declaring him guilty and fining him. The current complaint is merely that Johnson “misled” parliament on the subject. Who does the Commons privileges committee want to believe, Johnson or the police, after three years of tedious publicity?''

And ......
''Doncaster was given to Scotland during the 12th century (The Treaty of Durham). It was never officially reclaimed by England, making the area legally still part of Scotland''

I may get my European passport back yet.

“Who do you believe sprot, the police or Johnson”.
Syd, given that you have spent a lot of time on here calling out both of them as liars, the question is who would you believe?
-
Hound, seeing as he even believes Cummings when it suits, he'll obviously believe whoever and whatever suits his agenda.

Hopefully this is the beginning of the end for johnson, humiliated and belittled he should maybe withdraw from parliament to save himself from further humiliation, he could have had it all, power and the glory but that's not johnson is it.
