I did t think there was going to be a match thread. Such is the apathy.

Just seen goal on Sky. Did that go straight through  Mitchell’s hands?

Rarely I have to start the LP match day thread. Just shows how disinterested the fan base is.

Brown carrying on where he left off last week. Terrible attempts at passing a ball.

It's just terrible. We take a quick free kick and immediatly go back towards our own goal. Loose passes and as a collective our first touch is f**kin horrific.

I'm usually very positive but I'm struggling

Those 2 passages of play a few minutes ago sum up the players and the coaching. Miscommunication between Brown an Close and they both just look at each other. Straight after that a miscommunication between Anderson and Olowu and they both just look at each other. No responsibility, No leadership, No players around any of them giving them a b0llocking.

First effort on goal and on target for Rovers after 30 mins. Header by Lavery easily saved.

Dismal first half that.  Mitchell at fault for the goal but they really shouldn’t have been in a position to score within 60 seconds anyway.

Usual fare - crap passing, low energy, no tackling, no situational awareness. I’m shocked we’ve only conceded the one but then they’ve probably come here knowing there’s no need to bust a gut, just sit back and wait for us to screw up.

Anderson’s being had all over by their #9 among others. Totally outclassed.

We’ve been slightly brighter since Hurst came on but that’s the only glimmer of positivity.

Northampton are 3rd and top of form table yet they are poor. No reason whatsoever for us to have a real go at these 2nd half, but of course we won't because that won't fit the process! Again Molyneux is stealing a wage, he would not get in my sons team at Bessie with his attitude, its like we are playing with10 men!
Title: Re: Rovers v Northampton

A chance to bring Faulkner on and push Rowe forward but no bring Hurst on and drop Molyneux to left wing back. Unbelievable...... maybe not though

Every player is progressing, Close is player of the season, the pitch is too hard, that's why we've been losing. I muted around 30 minutes.

Yes we’re terrible. At least
Lavery looks interested. Seaman done OK.

Todd Miller gets a foot in quite often. He doesn’t look like a player to me but it’s interesting watching him. Maybe he’ll do something amazing.

tbf this is not too bad compared to some of the dross i've watched recently. If it wasn't for that "worldie" we'd be doing ok.

This team amongst other things is crying out for a leader, nobody on there taking the team by the scruff of the neck and dragging them to a better level, the passing is shocking again its like we just cannot do the basics and when we get the ball forward its guaranteed to break down through slack and poor control.

For a team that's had the benefit of this coach for long enough how the fu*k do we even attempt to play this system when we struggle to even execute basic passes and play.

Absolute shitshow from the club, i've barely sat down in the bloody ground and we're picking the ball out of the net through slack play again. I've now got to sit here and witness another game of total incompetence, it just never ends.

Northampton do'nt need to do another thing because we would not score in a free brothel.

What  a waste of my day, again.

Well, I’ve seen a fair few comments about Mitchell being a perfectly adequate keeper for this level and what else do we expect…but at this level we’ve had keepers like Willie Boyd, Graham Brown, Dennis Peacock and countless others at this level who have been far, far more than ‘adequate’.

That was awful, two poor teams chasing a bag of wind. The only thing separating the teams was a couple of woeful keeping errors.
