Passed away aged 67 a really nice person, never got on with his Lilly Savage character but he won me over with his general persona and empathy displayed over the last Ten years.RIP

Total gentleman.  I loved his acid wit but his gentle, warm personality came through loud and clear.  Loved his Sunday teatime radio show.

He will be missed.

A bit shocking to hear that he was laughing and joking earlier on the day of his death, but is there a better way to go?

Similar to my pal John who I was having a laugh with an hour before he died.
Hope I go like that, but not just yet.

Was listening to PMQs earlier and one MP invited Deputy PM - Raab to join her in a tribute to Paul O'Grady.  Raab stuttered along with some empty words and called him Paul Grayson.
