I see the deadline for early bird season tickets has now been extended further to the end of May.
Interesting. I wonder what the thought is behind this? Desperation? Do they think we’re going to be falling over ourselves with glee for one with the triumphant end to the season? Or are they planning on finally disposing of dull Danny, and hoping the uptake is strong when they do?

I really hope so, each day that passes with that utterly incompetent buffoon in charge is prolonging the agony.
I genuinely think they'd see a decent bump in ST sales if he went, we've had dozens of posters on here say they're not buying until he's gone, it would shift the mood and get the fans back on side and bring some positivity back. I'm dreading next season at the moment - usually I count down the seconds through the summer until the first game!

My optimism towards anything Doncaster Rovers has hit new lows, when we score I’m like “oh we scored” rather than celebrating, when we concede it’s a sarcastic “surprise, surprise”.
Haven’t had a season ticket since 2013/14 season due to work commitments but now I don’t work Saturdays or evenings I could start going back but I can’t bring myself to pay for it under the current setup and the whole negative energy surrounding the club.
DRFC I beg of you to give us fans something to get excited about, ambition, put bums in sits because right now you are doing the exact opposite.

It always gets extended,it’s nothing new

Except there was no mention initially that there was an earlybird price. This came about a few weeks ago out of the blue with no information about what the prices would be after that deadline.
At least that info has now been added.
Just another thing that hasn't been very well handled.

It was just poor marketing.

It's going to be a sad state of affairs. It's okay saying the budget is ring fenced. However playing in front of potentially sub 4k crowds next season just makes the whole matchday experience even more depressing. It's pretty much going to be what turned up v Crewe and that was embarrassing the actual crowd v the ST holders who didn't turn up included crowd.

Pretty sure it gets extended a lot so don’t think it’s anything to do with lack of take up. No doubt season ticket sales will be hit by this season and the thought of more DS football.
I’m still holding out hope McCann will take the job and with a bit of extra cash get us believing again. Never going to happen I know but the early bird tickets might have more takers

Every year it gets extended don’t know why

Creating artificial deadlines to push people to buy I imagine. Probably a good sales tactic so don’t blame them. Not sure it works for season tickets the same way as it does online sales

We need to do something fast and sadly the manager is that right now. Parks are full of Leeds shirts again. Kids are fed up, adults are. Don't lose another 10 years of fans. Despite the crap crowds this season it's still double that of 25 years ago. Just saying the budget is ring fenced is good short term, terrible long term. The fact that prices are cheapest probably in the EFL and the take up is poor gives it away.

has it not got something to do with when you have to declare how much money has come into the club for FFP for the following seasons
