Things are not looking rosy for them at the moment. Could this be the end?

Am I right in thinking today is D day for them?
Liquidation?
Not much in the news about it .When it happens it’ll be on sky sports news directly next to a story of some £100m signing that will be getting £300k a week. Makes me sick.

Tomorrow by the looks. Feels like another Bury.
-
Another club that’s lurched from crisis to crisis despite some cracking fans. Such a shame
-
Happy memories of a relatively recent game at Roots Hall. Complete with a head butt from Heffs.
-
I thought you meant the 1-7 game which was quite good as well
-
The best game was at The Keepmoat as it was then with a Copps hat-trick.
-
Can anyone honestly say they have ever applauded an opposing team’s fans, apart from us vs Southend that night?
-
First game of first McCann season there was good as well. Also remember a good win there under Ferguson at Christmas time. We seem to have only good memories there.

Still love how half of Essex was completely rattled by Malik Wilks shithousery, I am sure I remember him stopping the ball at the corner flag, pull his socks down and then skin a man.

They've got a 42 day stay of execution (https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/66173807).
Hope they survive, their fans deserve a well run club to support.
-
Not forgetting our FACup 0-1 Giant killing.

That 42 days isn't long to to formalise the sale to one of the interested parties then go through the relevant ownership tests.
The league won't allow them to participate without clarity of ownership plus proof they can pay the tax bills and players (if they have any left).

The complication is that the National League don't want to go down the route they did with Bury, that is allowing a club to begin the season without knowing if they can complete.

I remember that well as a short trip for me.
Especially Snod going bananas at the end of the game !
-
I can remember driving down there for a Friday night game to see a goalless draw, they were top and we were 2nd in the league, I think that we were both promoted and the following season we were both relegated.
-
Although we signed him from Barnsley we should thank Southend for developing one of our most iconic players.
I give you Alan ‘Animal’ Little
