The chap above is worth bringing to peoples attention!
He can only be described as an absolute fruitloop as he's currently running across the entire length of Africa (averaging 50k a day) and is hoping to have it done in 240 days.
He's on Twitter & Instagram on the handle in the subject. 2 weeks in and it's great viewing.
P.s he's incredibly ginger with a massive beard which makes it even more impressive!

Wow! I’m looking at a map of Africa and I’m trying to work out his route. Surely he needs to follow the Nile through the Sahara but that would mean he has to go through Sudan?
I’m worried about running Leeds marathon next week but that pales in comparison!

I ran marathon on Monday and have hobbled around for a few days, god knows how people go out and do this daily.

He does plan on running through the Sahara at some point. God knows how he'll manage that. I'm sure he's put his route up somewhere.
He's also on Strava so you can follow his route daily on there.
He's a young lad as well. Absolutely phenomenal.

Crikey. I flew over the length of Africa a few months ago. It took hours! I can’t imagine running it!

He's going through the west of africa which makes sense as it's flatter up to tunisia which is the most northern point.
But between Mauritania and Algeria's last bits of civilisation in the sahara he has about 500 miles with no proper roads I can see.
I imagine there's some pretty unsafe parts throughout as well.

Part of me thinks he won't be able to complete due to him quite possibly being killed but I'm supporting him nevertheless!

Just bringing this to people’s attention.
After just shy of a year he’s due to finish his run tomorrow in Tunisia. Whole host of people have flown out to do the last bit with him.
Been a mad old year if you haven’t been keeping up to date! Doing a documentary which will be worth a watch.
