Why only 5 subs on the bench?

DS will be using it as an excuse with injuries for such a shocking season under him to try buy himself some time.

Surely that has to be the weakest squad (starting XI plus subs) we’ve named since we got back into the Football League?

Close and Molyneux still contracted. Only Williams out of contract who's missing.

Brown, Williams and Ravenhill possibly I can understand, but Close and Moly are on longer contracts, and Nelson would not be after a contract with us. Illness in the camp?

He deserves it.

But the question in, the situation etc etc, why didn't he start?

Full time 2-1

Another defeat in a season of many defeats. In a results based industry how Schofield is still in charge is anyone’s guess

Hopefully a closed season clear out and a fresh start next

Onwards and upwards
