Nice to see him sign a 2 year deal
-
To say the season that we’ve had and the side he came into he’s actually came out of it looking like he had a bit of something. Whether that’s heart and desire or talent we are yet to see.
-
Cancelled his loan at Peterborough Sports (National League North) and dropped down two steps to join Bradford Park Avenue (Northern Premier League - East Division).
-
It’s a shame but maybe around the level he is at. Unfortunately, didn’t think he had what it takes here. Shame, as he does his best.
-
I don’t think he was getting many minutes at Peterborough Sports so he may as well drop down a level or two. He’s not going to improve sat on the bench at P.Sports
-
That’s quite a long way down the pyramid but Jack is still only 19 and if this gives him regular games then that can only help him.
Good luck with this new challenge Jack.

Just remembered that Ben Blythe plays for Bradford Park Avenue.
His football journey is quite an odd one, having left us for Swansea and then dropping down to BPA.

We got a decent fee for him as well, didn't we? Agree it seems unusual either way.

Conspiracy theory anyone? :) :) :)

Yes I think we did.
I was impressed by Ben on the odd times I saw him and I thought his move to Swansea at such a young age was his launchpad to future success.
Now at Bradford Park Avenue.
Fine margins for these young lads.
-
Blythe impressed on loan at Barry Town United in the Cymru Premier last season so probably could've found another team at that level had he wanted to, but perhaps he fancied a move nearer to home.
-
I always thought Goodman looked bright and positive when he played, Kulaya also looked decent to my untrained eye - certainly as much of a player as Yeboah who came to us from Bristol C with them hailing him the new Messiah. Surprised he's ended up at such a low level after a promising start.
-
Another new start, hopefully it goes better than his previous loans in men's football which all seem to have gone the same way, and when he was doing ok he picked up a broken foot which was very unlucky.
-
He is young so still time but still dissapointing to have to drop down to that level to get a game.He should be doing better and at some point soon he has to step up or will be another promising youngster who fail to progress.
-
Good to see that the club haven’t given up on him though.

Scored on his debut today for Bradford Park Avenue, with the opener in a 4-1 home win against Sherwood Colliery.
-
In the same division as Bridlington Town.
Gotta ‘tear up some trees’ Jack!

Point of interest, or maybe not, but the man behind Sherwood Colliery is Gareth Bull, he won £40 million on the Euro millions lottery in 2012. Debdale Lane where Sherwood Colliery play is next to where Johnson’s coaches Mansfield Woodhouse base is.

Shame he wasn't a Rovers fan

I used to work with one of drinking mates and one his first purchases was a hospitality box at Old Trafford, his mates could go for free but he used make them pay for the minibus to the ground

Goodman has had his loan cancelled at Bradford Park Avenue (eighth in the Northern Premier League - East) and has stepped up a level and gone on loan to Basford United FC (third bottom in the Northern Premier League - Premier) for the rest of the season.
Think he ended up with just his debut goal, in eight appearances.
