Having a sly dig at our boy GM.

Edit, just seen McCann had replied on the post

Now deleted?

No still there SM
Try it now, I've recopied the link
-
Macanthony has now replied to mcann.
All a bit messy
-
Darragh is a complete bellend. No class whatsoever. If he’s so far up fergies arse, then why has he sacked him several times before.
Terry, Gavin or even Blunt, would never speak like that.
-
I don't actually see much, if anything, wrong with that video.
-
Describing McCann and Byrne as that other crew. Wind up merchant.
He says he's happy with things throughout the club but then says there's going to be changes?? More emphasis on youth too, bringing young players through.
Normally means no big signings.
-
I like the way posh fans are sticking up for McCann.
Most are saying McCann gave everything he could and how disrespectful MacAnthony is being to a club legend.
-
Quite a few seem to have had enough of the gobshite.
Also, he mentions further down he heard from 3 previous managers during/after the play off games.
My guess is Grant didn’t send him any messages of support and he’s upset by that the big baby.
-
I don’t like him and that was very disrespectful to GM.
He has employed him twice as Manager.
You don’t bring someone back again if you don’t rate them do you.
Having said that I wish we had a Chairman who can talk to the fans the way he does. Gets that positivity around the Club and builds optimism even at times of adversity.

Talks a load of b*llocks for 7 minutes and refers to Grant & Cliff as "previous crew"
-
Video: Talks about the current manager taking over from "the previous crew"
Replies:
Grant: "The previous Crew, thanks Chairman."
Darragh: "You are very welcome"

Not just that but goes on to say that the club was broken before January, even down to the youth set up.
He was pointing the finger of failure at GM and CB to deflect away from Fergie.

When Fergie fails to get them promoted next season what will McAnthony do. Sack him or Fergie will walk.
Is he going to say the Club was broken?
No sorry the man may be a good sales person but he has no class at all.
He will only get so far with his Club with the way he deals with people.
Short term success but ultimately it won’t get him long term success.

Be interesting to revisit this thread in three years.
I’m wondering if we’d be above posh in the league structure.
I’d be having a bet on yes if we’ve both got the same management.
-
Don't really think there is any need for GM to reply there. Unprofessional.
-
I don't think it's been confirmed yet that Fergie will be there next season. Said, they were to have talks.
If they are cutting back then Fergie won't like that
-
He is like marmite isn't he?
I like him (which is strange cos I don't like marmite  )
who would you sooner have as chairman? him or blunt?

Whoever TB chooses for the job.

McAnthony is what he is. That thread says it all. Unprofessional doesn't begin to cover it.
It takes a lot to get me to root for Sheff Weds, but given the choice between them and his crew, there was only one outcome last week.

Ah but you live in Sheffield don’t you BST
People think I am a closet Leeds United fan so the question is are you an Owls one? ;)
-
Didn't listen to any more of that after he referred to GM and CB as "the previous crew". Uncalled for, and very unprofessional. 'nob 'ead!!!
-
What a absolute unprofessional childish bell of a dork.

Nope.
I cannot f**king abide them. Even though my uncle was a legendary player for them.
But I dislike MacAnthonybeven more. And I'm no great fan of the wife beater he (currently) employs either.

Right that puts that one to bed then emphatically. :)

Who was your Uncle BST if you don’t mind me asking?
-
He is a complete bell.. sore loser .. always has been . Remember him whining about the season being finished early and his lot missing out on playoffs due to predicted PPG .. he wanted to implement his own version so that they would qualify .. get in the bin DMac
-
Who was your Uncle BST if you don’t mind me asking?
Mick Prendergast.

Right. Yes a good player. Remember him well.
-
Not the most talented player in the world, but there weren't many who were braver or worked harder. He was a bit like Colin Douglas for us. Always reliable. Never shirked a challenge. Drank as hard as he played.
He carried on drinking after he retired and it killed him before he reached 60.
-
The comments made by DMAC are excellent for us. They will drive GM and CB on even harder to succeed here … and I’m all in for that!

That's what happens when you get a pillock in the dog house.
