Good luck to him. Hopefully he’s able to kick on and work his way back into the football league.
One of the only bright sparks in the final 5 or so games of last season.
-
Wish him well. Hope it works out.

He looked useful on the left cutting inside onto his right foot and getting his shots off
-
Yes, good luck to him.

Youngster Jak Whiting has signed for Bradford PA;

With game time these lads could make it back to pro level...all the best!
-
Good luck to the lad.
I have a sneaking feeling we'll regret this one. I hope so, because he seemed a decent trier.
-
Only saw the best of him in the months running up to his contract expiry, which was a shame as he was superb then but very poor before.
Hope it goes well for him but how his career pans out is anyone’s guess. The slower pace at that level should allow his quality to consistently shine through.
-
TBF to AB, he didn’t really play many games before the run in last season.
-
On a personal level, I hope he does well he seems a nice kid, tried his best and thats all you can ask.
On a professional level, no surprise to see the rubbish our squad was filled with last season drop down the leagues. No doubt Agard and Mitchell will end up there soon as well.
-
That’s the brutal truth- no other pro club thought he was worth a punt. I hope he can make a go of it.

100% this. Brilliant near the end of the season, I was constantly thinking ‘where’s he been hiding’
-
Looked good 1st game of season in L1 against Sheff Weds but unfortunately injuries and confidence seem to have held him back.
-
I feel for the lad he clearly lacks confidence. Fingers crossed he kicks on.

51 games across two seasons and under three different managers is probably enough to form a judgement on a player one way or the other.
-
I bet most of those appearances were cameo substitute ones.
However, I agree that the managers and coaching staff would see enough in training to form an opinion.
-
It’s an old adage but, when the opportunity comes you have to grasp it. The chances of becoming a full time pro in football…well BST will give you the odds.
Keep lacing those boots Aiden & make the most of every minute you play. Bust a gut every game, leave nothing on the pitch.
I know how gutted you must feel at the moment after very nearly ‘making it big’ myself.
-
There is definitely a player in there as we saw when he had a run in the team. I think he needs to find a level where he can excel to build his confidence then I honestly think he’ll move onwards. It’s only his confidence holding him back imo
-
Missed this. Left Eastleigh after a season and now at Rochdale on a year deal.
Hasn't made the squad for any of the three games Rochdale have played this season, so assume he got injured in pre-season.
-
When you look at the dross we had for that final season in league 1.
How the hell we thought we had a chance of staying up.

Absolutely, mate. I can remember an early away game at Rotherham. We lost 0-2, and it would have been much more had it not been for the Millers getting a red card.
I said to all the people sitting around me that this was the worst Rovers side since 97/98. They all looked at me gone out. Probably because Richie was the manager.
Even some people on here insisted that we wouldn't get relegated.

The crazy thing is we nearly stopped up.
