Today we had 300 supporters make the long trip to Stroud today & after the final whistle, even despite Paul waving the elf like a madman, the Rovers players, after quite rightly patting one another on the back, ‘simply’ applauded the away fans from a distance of at least 20 yards!
Were they that knackered they couldn’t have made their way to those fans & really ‘connected’ their thanks by making ‘physical contact’ with high fives if a hug is deemed to be too ‘dangerous’!
I tell you, that would have made memories for those there & made the long journey home seem much shorter.
We’re talking Rovers here at Forest Green, not Barcelona at the Bernabeu.

You switched off too early Graham !
-
Agree with you on this topic, wouldn’t cost them anything to do so
-
What? Moaning that the players didn't clap close enough. Jesus wept.
They were more than close enough and you could tell what it meant.
Some people are never happy are they
-
I was happy with the level of contact the team afforded me thanks.
-
I was just past the halfway line and they walked past clapping just infront of me. Molyneux came across to speak to somebody down by me too.

I wouldn’t get too bothered about this kind of thing. The players know when they’ve done well and when they’ve been appalling and all points in between.
Well done for going to a distant away game but get over it. The players have clocked off, got the points so that’ll do. It’s all for show anyway. It means very little.

Molyneux was posing for selfies, other players walked along touch line (ish) no problem with it personally
-
Was it only 300 Rovers fans btw? Looked a lot more than that.

I stand corrected.

Suppose got to moan at sumthing else seeing as we won

Players were probably knackered. They stole a victory today. Thank goodness. We used up our luck allocation for several months. Superb goals, but a defensive display as bad as anything in the last 3 years. Sorry but Oluwu should never put a Rovers shirt on again he simply cannot defend a cross into our box, and totally f**** up all our defenders. Get rid!!
Well done Louis Jones today some very good saves.
