Two successive league defeats.
Love it.

It certainly makes it much more interesting for neutrals. I can't see Spurs staying up there, but Arsenal are strong enough to go for the title.

Do you really have to ask that, Pancho? City have broke umpteen FFP rules, yet we all know they won't be punished.
Their oil money has enabled them to buy a squad of world class players, to the point where injuries hardly affect them.
I want someone else to win the title for a change.
-
It hasn’t done too much damage to Citeh as apart from Arsenal all the other teams only picked up a point each.
-
They'll still win the league easily.
-
They are an entirely spirit crushing and emotionless black hole of petrocash. Their football is designed in a laboratory. Clinical, scientific and without any obvious passion. Without the petrocash they would be slugging it out with Villa for the Conference League places.
-
Their run in at the end of the season will see them win it again, pretty easy fixtures from what I remember.
-
Rodri is back for the next game he makes them tick and more important than people think
-
Man U and Chelsea have spent similar amounts if not more, success isn’t always down to the money spent.

OK, all fair points SS.
Would you be happy if Newcastle won the title?

They are like robots repeating the same process game after game, so boring!!

I'd like Spurs to win it as I quite like Big Ange.

Every generation has a stand out team Wolves in the 50's Tottenham in the 60s even Chelsea lately. Wolfie an example of how your team is the best in the land in your formative years.
We were lucky the Tottenham team was around as we would have had the Wendies along with Leeds to contend with.
Enjoy the City while they are around, it will not last for ever, the two sides in Britain in my time I think were the best were the Tottenham side who were sublime footballers with their push and run style a breath of fresh air and were cheated by suspect refereeing more prevalent in those days out of European success v Benfica and the Celtic side that broke the suffocating defensive trend the Italian sides had introduced, and the first side to go with attacking full backs.
Both those teams and the Ramsey world cup team reinvented the way the game was played the first effective styles since the Hungarian withdrawn centre forward in the early 50s.
Not only were they great players and teams they changed the game as the great Dutch sides did that followed.
They all changed the game, and should be commended and admired for it, what has followed is just taking their ideas on and better fitness, but they showed the way.

I thought it was a very dull game, neither side deserved to win .
-
Man City are the very epitome of everything that is bad about money in the game . Newcastle doing just the same .

Probably one of the best run clubs now in the Prem. You have to spend to catch up. Man u have spent more in the last 10 seasons I'd say. Newcastle haven't gone that crazy either and have signed some very good players without spending crazy.
