Tonight’s team. One change Biggins starts in place of Rowe
I’ve updated the picture with tonight’s team
COYR
-
Just seen the picture, seems Biggins starts and is a sub!
COYR
-
Have we got a full bench? Biggins is down as a sub.
-
Yes there’s 7 Players without Biggins Degruchy as come in. Young bench again wheres the players that were nearly ready
-
Biggins obviously in for Rowe.

Not being rushed McCann said earlier. Busy time coming upto Christmas and new year and wants the majority fit for this period
-
I doff my cap to everyone involved tonight and especially those who have braved the journey. If anyone deserves 3 points, it's them.
-
Not looked at the stats from previous seasons even way back but from memory, don’t we generally do well at Tranmere’s ground?
Come on Donny !!!
-
If Rovers play with the same commitment as they have shown in the last 3-4 games I can see an away win coming. 0 -2.
-
No Olowu
-
No Olowu
Injured in warmup?
-
Seems that way.
-
3 | Over the bar. Joe Ironside zips a low cross in from the right and Ben Close arrives, clipping his effort over from six yards
0-0
COYR
-
Wish Tranmere commentators would stop mentioning Oluwu when he’s not even playing !
-
11 | Vital interception in front of goal by Tom Nixon, who got in the way of Josh Hawkes' driven cross before it could be tapped home
0-0
COYR
-
Wish Tranmere commentators would stop mentioning Oluwu when he’s not even playing !
15 mins in and I'm already considering sticking it on mute. The co-commentator is way too over excited.

Been thinking the same. Sounds an idiot.
Absolute raving about Tranmere’s tactics.
Going to look an idiot when we score.
-
Sort our crosses out and there is goals in this for us
-
i was going to back Rovers to beat Harrogate 1-0 for £10 first match of the season but missed doing it so saved a tenna
since then i have had the odd quid on 1-0 and have lost 15 matches in a row so I am due a 1-0 win today - my stake is now up to £3 @11/1 .... so I am expecting a 1-0 win result finally .... lets see how long it takes to get that elusive 1-0 win !!
-
i am winning
-
Lovely team goal for Biggins there!
-
Goal!!!!
-
Ohhh Ben Close that is filthy
-
That is a very nice goal
-
that was brilliant timing for me to post and we score immediately !!! i don't care a bit if we win 2-0 or any other win
the very serious money is on a top half finish
-
Goal! Tranmere Rovers 0, Doncaster Rovers 1. Harrison Biggins (Doncaster Rovers) right footed shot from the centre of the box to the bottom left corner. Assisted by Zain Westbrooke.
COYR
-
Nosebleed time - temporarily in 15th :scarf:
-
What a superb pass!
-
30 | Great counter from Rovers as Biggins sends Molyneux racing down the right. Molyneux cut back for Close, who saw his shot blocked
0-1
COYR
-
When our midfield get on the ball they can’t live with us
-
Goooooaaaaaallllll

-
39 | Superb save from Louis Jones on his line as he gets down to keep out a bullet header from a free kick
0-1
COYR

For kicking the ball away - surely a yellow not red?
-
Sending off
Too late Keith
-
How is that a red?!
-
A joke. McCann kicks the ball less than 10 yards and gets a straight red. Scallys banding together.
-
They def need to appeal that f**ker.
-
Was a bit silly by grant, don't know why it's a red because he's a manager. If it was a player it would be a yellow
-
That has to be the most ridiculous red card decision I have ever seen.
-
How on earth can it be a red? Are the rules different for the bench?
-
That has to be the most ridiculous red card decision I have ever seen.
However, there was no need......
-
I’d like to know how the ref can justify that as a red? Yellow would have been fair
-
Good half that. Got to stop them making it scrappy.
-
Half time 0-1 a good half if you don’t count having the manager sent off
COYR
-
So who has replaced Olowu?
-
So who has replaced Olowu?
Broadbent
-
Only six points off automatics.
-
So who has replaced Olowu?
Broadbent gone to left back.
Nixon has come in to central defence and has defended brilliantly.
-
So who has replaced Olowu?
Olowu has, according to their commentary. And he’s playing next to Dixon.
-

Wasn't silly at all, very clever by Grant because 1 of the receiving Tranmere players had already started to make his run while we were switched off , yellow card though at worse. We've been very sloppy, trying to force the killer pass, need to keep it short and more composed and we will play through these comfortabley .
-
Proper shit house McCann, love him.

Yea realised afterwards he stopped a quick throw, but probably could of just let it go through is legs and get lost in the dugout.
Nit a red offence though. But I'd rather the red be for our manager than a player
-
Funnily enough, or not, Casey Stoney, San Diego Wave coach, got a red a few games ago for the same thing. Ridiculous really. A yellow at worst.

They might be using a dodgy stick or something which might only give home commentary.

My lads there and he had something in the back of his mind and if the Tranmere player is what you say the ref was actually technically correct............. This bits in the sending off "rules" for team officials
SENDING OFF
Sending-off offences include (but are not limited to):
delaying the restart of play by the opposing team e.g. holding onto the ball, kicking the ball away, obstructing the movement of a player
deliberately leaving the technical area to:
show dissent towards, or remonstrate with, a match offic

Spare a thought to their co commentator who was buzzing they were making us kick it long earlier. Hahaha
-
We've got another goal in us
-
Our corners are piss poor tonight.
-
Our corners are piss poor tonight.
Yep. Keep going for the short corners but they are shooting out and we are not then getting the ball in the box.

Bollox 1-2

Ffs was just saying conceding now makes it a long night.

Here we go. 20mins of praying

COYR

Need to step up now and get the next goal

Our corners are piss poor tonight.
Our corners are always piss poor.
Really hate to see two players on the corner flag for a corner with only ever having the intention of involving one.
-
We don’t really have anyone to bring on to see the game out
-
Spare a thought to their co commentator who was buzzing they were making us kick it ling earlier. Hahaha
He's got his bit between his teeth again now they have scored and are on the front foot
-
Not having it all our own way at the moment
-
This carries on like this and we could lose this.
Needs someone to get a grip on this

79th minute, on our arse and struggling. No changes yet.
Though who do we have on bench
-
Where has the midfield gone?
2-0 flattered us , not done enough. Need to get back to basics
-
We’re missing a mester or two right now.
-
Both their Cb's on yellows and not put them under any pressure
-
Now when you want to bring good and fresh legs on - is when the extreme injury crisis is being felt
-
Nothing on the bench to change it maybe sotona just for pace need to run at those on yellows to give them something to think about
-
82 | Harrison Biggins sends a swirling effort on goal from the corner of the box with Murphy awkwardly batting it away

Full time 1-2 up to 15th in the league, a good nights work by the Rovers.

COYR

Thanks for slapping my face MM
-
Not a massive fan of Mickey Walker but he says Anderson MOM, well done lad, hope he’s answered some of his critics!
-
Really frustrated with Biggins, he looks yards off it, constantly gave the ball away, fair play he was enough behind the play to get the goal, but he needs to be way better.
-
That last ten was superb, saw it out so well. Pressed, defended well, simple stuff. But that's how you win away in the rain in league 2.
-
Great to hear the fans at the end. Big shout for Grant there at the end. Brilliant.
-
Great win. Thought we were under the cosh and feared the worst during that 15 minute spell around their goal but was pretty comfortable in the end.
-
Last season & the season before that we would have at best got a draw after they scored & probably would have lost. This team is now showing some resilience in the face of adversary. Long may it continue!!

He had an IT band issue last year, which I think was the same this summer too? That runs just to the side of the hamstrings. I’m guessing that’s what cramps up after he’s ran so far as it is commonly a runner’s affliction.
