My eyes must be painted on as I thought he was our best player by a mile.
Plenty round me booing his MOTM award.
Unbelievable
-
Worst game he has had in weeks but definitely shouldn’t be booed
-
None of the players should be booed.
Was a bad night but didn't deserve to be booed.
That is poor of any fan to do that.
-
Again “fans” booing, a team, or players that have played well.
I wish they would go and support a team that has fans they would fit in with, along with the “Gerri forward” lot.
40 mins down the A1 is where you will be welcomed with knuckle dragging arms.

The whole booing at times is a joke. Poor result but not worthy of booing, the effort was there even if mistakes were made.
He wasn't motm for me though, nixon imo.
-
Frustrating night but nobody deserved to get that treatment. In some respects we looked impressive but got taken apart easily in other respects. Trend continues to be one of improvement, but tonight was a bit poor.
-
We really do have a thick element of fans.
Nixon tonight for me followed by Close.
-
Westbrooke covered every inch of the pitch on a night where too many looked laboured.
We have some proper d**kheads calling themselves Rovers fans.

I agree, Mush, he had an excellent game. I personally would have given it to Tom Nixon.
Both players did well, let down by poor defending, and poor finishing from the rest of them.

I politely disagree. I thought he was excellent

He not only had to do his own running he also had to do Faals.

Faal is still learning his trade and any benefit he brings is a bonus . Ironside a so called striker was none excitant for too much of the game . We need an Alfie May type of player who can run in and out of the box tacking defenders out of position. Instead of 42 crosses that just get headed away every time !!

So called striker
Best striker we’ve had in years

What I really couldn't fathom tonight was why we waited until we were three down before we started hitting balls long for Ironside. The number 5 marking him looked too short to be a mascot for Snow White's mates' 7-a-side team but we never put him under any aerial threat until the game was a lost cause.
Edit:
Adrian Mariappa. 5'11 according to soccerbase. If he's 5'11, my dick is 16 inches long.

Billy, are you saying that soccerbase are also exaggerating by four times.
Edit: Before anyone jumps in to have a go at me here, I have posted a joke which I’m sure bst would have appreciated.

Booing totally unacceptable.
Might have covered every piece of grass (in BST’s post) but too many of his passes were misplaced, he was picking up the ball from deep defence on too many occasions in the first half & looked well knackered as a result after 70 minutes.
To look past as MOTM, Ironside on a night when yet again he ‘cared’ for every ball played into him & on a night when his strike partner had a mare, beggars belief.
Owen Bailey a close second for me too.

You can’t keep the level of performances up when there isn’t anyone available to freshen things up. Last night’s performance was going to happen sooner or later. Salford were very well drilled and we looked knackered from the start. Personally I thought Westbrooke was poor but so was Close and Biggins, unlike Salford we failed to close players down or track back especially the midfield trio

I blame the bleached blonde hair lol!
