Ironside on the bench at least
Looks a decent bench potential to change if need it
-
Wood, Maxwell, Ironside, Hurst, Close. That bench is looking really strong! As they tire we could put some real pressure on Wimbledon, a good away win today, 0 - 2.
-
Bugiel is a nuisance of centre forward like Ironside. Hopefully he stays away from Olowu.
-
Why is he calling him Omure Bugle?
-
The lad with the speedos on is going to have fun with Mo, already trying to get his shirt
-
Why is he calling him Omure Bugle?
Maybe his remembrance is failing him?
-
14' | First shot of the game goes Rovers way as Harrison Biggins wins the ball back and finds a cross in towards the centre but George Broadbent's shot cannons high and wide.

It will not be my last post

21' | Wimbledon get forward and put a great ball in towards Al Hamadi but Tom Anderson gets there first and puts behind for a corner. Resulting set-piece comes to nothing.

Omar Bugiel becomes the first man to receive a card this afternoon after a high foot on Joseph Olowu.

Apparently a concussion substitution, so we still have up to another 5

Connor Lemonheigh Evans is the next Wimbledon player booked, this time for a foul on Owen Bailey.

Very physical side Wombles. Knocking us about a bit.
-
Maybe we have got them rattled.

Keep 'em coming Dutch, the game isn't very entertaining.

The game's rubbish, but they just keep picking it up!
-
YELLOW CARD
Zain Westbrooke is now carded for preventing a quick restart for the hosts.

Could well be a red in this game
-
45' | Luke Molyneux takes a strike on from distance but it goes wide to the right.

I think that is Senior's 5th yellow - if so one match suspension
-
45' | ADDITIONAL TIME
There will be a minimum of four minutes to play at the end of the first half.
And a yellow for Jack Senior

Oh dear
-
dear me , dear me
-
At least we have a strong bench. Joe on for 2nd half?
-
Rovers now 16/1 to win this. It is reasonable odds unless Rovers pick up the pace next half.
-
45+3' | More on the goal, Ali Al Hamadi bundles the ball over the line from a Wimbledon corner.
1-0

Player sparked out at the corner, ref allows the goal ffs
-
We are shit at crosses, never seen such crap
-
Player sparked out at the corner, ref allows the goal ffs
think our own player took him out
-
You can't blame Broadbent when he is fouled to give Wimbledon the chance to score.
-
Ffs. We just seem to lose concentration in the twilight zone when time is ticking down.
-
Just not got going. Westbrook not in the game at all. Broadbent and Biggins passengers as ever.
-
Louis should have come for that 2nd ball and punched it away. Rooted to his line, poor keeping that.
-
Very poor half that. No coherent play at all, and the usual conceding from a cross and latest injury.
-
Either Wood is still struggling for fitness or Grant really doesn’t fancy him. Bringing on Close for Joe against a very physical side.
-

i wonder if Jones spectated or participated in the defence. Could he have or was he glued to his line as usual? Hoden has not really given a coherent description of it, but that is not unusual.
-

It needed a change to the system though, that’s why he did it.
Gone to 3 at back
-
Jones just no use to the defence on crosses, lead boots
-
Ironside on for biggins
Hurst on for Broadbent is what I’d be doing
-

Didn't look it from here though it's hard to tell, not the best of views. Broadbent has been poor though be surprised if he's back out second half.
-

Westbrooke’s first touch is diabolical. Given the ball away as a result 4 times this half the first one on 6 minutes gave Wimbledon a scoring opportunity.
Think he needs a change of boots….or hairdresser.
-
SECOND HALF | We're back underway in the capital...
Rovers changes also...
OFF: George Broadbent and Luke Molyneux
ON: Joe Ironside and Kyle Hurst
1-0
COYR
-
Ironside on for biggins
Hurst on for Broadbent is what I’d be doing
Game crying out for Hurst & Joe now if we want to win it.
-
We're piss poor at defending in our own box - it's a recurring problem this season.
Hopefully a high quality central defender will be a top priority for Grant in January because none the combinations we have currently seem to be the answer.
-
Free kick against Senior was very dubious followed by some abject defending from Anderson from the corner, we really are dire at any set piece into the box.
This is becoming the kind of game that requires a forceful leader like Wood.
Really poor game with nothing sticking up top and no control in midfield, like dickos said get Ironsides and Hurst on and run at them.
-
53' | First few minutes of the second-half gone, Rovers pushing forward to try and get back on level terms but no luck just yet.

We’ve been poor all over the pitch today, just haven’t got going at all and vulnerable at the back. Can’t recall a single shot on goal.
-
Game over, we don't look like scoring, and that is a blow.
-

he should have cleared it long before he slipped
-
sadly we wont challenge for any honours with this defence.
-
this is looking like a perfect game for Wimbledon
-
Guys a dinosaur
-
It is a long way back from 2-0.
However, next goal could make difference if we get it.
Back to 2-1 would give us a big lift.
If it goes 3-0 then sadly it will be game over.
-
None of our centre halves are good enough unfortunately
-
68' | Good move from Rovers down the left as Westbrooke passes into Hurst who drills at goal but it's blocked.
2-0
COYR
-
Should of got Wood on at half time, we are gutless in defence, against a powerful striker Anderson looks like he’s aged overnight.
Lacking leadership and guts. GM will be furious.

blocked by our own player, to be fair hurst should have done better
-
Christ Tom is having a mare. He was lucky that the ref thought that was a foul on him. I thought he just slipped again trying to stoop to head it
When he is running it looks like he is running in treacle
-
Turned it off on follow, absolutely shocking, can't string three passes together without passing it to a Dons player, can't head a ball to any of our own players, we'll never score if we play til midnight!! Woeful.
-
I don't just feel sorry, I feel f*cking angry on behalf of all those magnificent fans who have travelled all the way down there, to be rewarded once again with absolutely nothing.
-
RED CARD
It's an extremely late challenge from Hus Biler and he's shown his second yellow to head down the tunnel.
2-0
COYR
-
:scarf:
Could well be a red in this game
Fortunately it is for them
-
See if we can make it count now.
Definitely a second yellow
-
I am trying to stay level headed here, but we are playing with 10 men whilst Biggins is in the team, he offers nothing but the odd long shot.
-
Isn’t it weird how inconsistent we are? We really do seem to be all or nothing.
-
2 yellows for a Wimbledon player … off, that was inevitable the way they have been collecting them.
-
Well lets hope that the sending off gives us enough of a lift to get a point from the game.
Still 25 minutes left with the inevitable added on time.
-
Really infuriates me to see two players stood together for a corner kick and one takes and lofts the ball in towards goal while the other looks on. What a waste of a player not contributing anything.
-
81' | Ben Close takes on an effort from range but it's over the crossbar.

a depressing listen on U follow this .Wimbledon have managed the game perfectly, DRFC also runs.
-
So we are back to 19th.
It is becoming tough to get away from that area of the league.
With our game next week being off it means a big catch up.
-
Full time 2-0 another defeat on the road, on to the FA Cup on Tuesday
COYR
-
We deserved nothing from that performance. Very poor all round. Can’t think of a single player who had a decent game.
-
That was really poor. No positives to report.
-
We are way off the top teams in this league, a new defensive pairing next season and some more creativity in midfield and a forward with pace and we should do better next season
-
Poor performance and result
Still on a good run, we’re an inconsistent team, still only 3 points off the top half
-

Some of us will do if we are there after 46 games.

For those reliant on Hoden’s iFollow commentary, it is impossible to judge the quality of the football because all he does is tell you who has the ball. He rarely actually describes what they do with it. It is poor value and as head of Media it is his responsibility to recognise that sound commentary is a job for a PROFESSIONAL. Where is Robbie Andrews or the Tom Biltcliff commentary on Radio Sheffield? If Barrow can afford the local radio, why can’t Rovers?
-
Rovers didn't help ,but little entertainment value in listening to that ☹
-
61% possession for rovers. 8 shots with just one on target .
-
Well, just to brighten the day for some, Wednesday lost 4-0 and Rotherham lost 5-0.

Yes but did you know that Al-Hamadi is an Iraqi international?

Robbie doesn't work for the club anymore and Radio Sheffield usually don't send anyone to our away games they just get a freelance journalist who's local to the area we are playing in. We are hardly ever on the radio so no commentary would be available.
