Makes you wonder where all the money went seeming though it was intended for the NHS seeing as it was overwhelmed... well it never was but no surprise this hasn't been covered more in the MSM.

There are a few references to the Captain Tom's family having a big house and "not being short of a bob or two". Have they not heard of Asset rich but cash poor?
Just because people have big houses doesnt mean they have wads of cash.
i suspect the daughter has more bad press coming her way in the coming years.
But in the meantime, she can crack on demolishing the 200 grand spa she had built under the guise of it being a "museum".

Tarnished the wonderful efforts of an amazing man.

From what I understand, the £32 million did go directly to the NHS, it's the 800grand proceeds from his book that they kept, which, they say was never intended to be part of the charity fund.

That's how I understand it also, TT.

Except the Foreword written in the Book (I haven't seen it personally) says something like .....
..... I was going to guess but I googled instead of telling half a tale and got this.....
However, the prologue of the autobiography reads: "Astonishingly at my age, with the offer to write this memoir I have also been given the chance to raise even more money for the charitable foundation now established in my name."
Looks pretty much like he meant it for Charity

She also claimed £70000 pa (now increased to £85000 pa) as CEO of the Captain Tom Foundation where she made the decesion over where the money was spent. Large amounts of it on 'expenses' & 'management fees' claimed by her.
So No, not all the £32 million went to the NHS. A good proportion went to her along with all the profits from the books.

According to the publicly available accounts, reimbursement costs of £16,097 were made to Club Nook Limited, a company under the control of Captain Tom's daughter, Hannah Ingram-Moore.
These costs were for accommodation, transport and “security” while Capt Sir Tom was "travelling around the UK to promote the charitable company".
The charity also paid out grants to four charities worth £40,000 each but spent £209,433 on support costs including £162,336 on "management".
Some interesting accounting been going on.
It will all come out in the wash.

Will you post the same about BLM ? And the millions that's been siphoned off

There is an ongoing fraud lawsuit with this bunch.
Which will come out in the wash also.

Guilty or not guilty, the main objective of the British media is to build someone up so they can pull them down later.

Nothing to stop you doing it.
What's your opinion of the thread you have posted on and the use of money collected for charity by one of the charity trustees?
