Title: Prosecuting Evil

A doc about Ben Ferencz, born in poverty and became a prosecutor at the Nuremburg Trials. He was also involved in setting up the International Criminal Court, hard to believe how recent that was.

Have just finished a book called 'East West Street' by Philippe Sands. It is a heavy read but I found it rewarding. In following his ancestry he is led to what is now called Lviv, and which has changed country several times in the 20th century between Germany (Lembach), Poland (Lwow), Russia & Ukraine.

He came across 4 people connected with Lviv including his grandfather, and it all leads to the Nuremberg Trials. One of the 4 was a senior German Commander, and the other two were instrumental in defining the International Law used for the first time, including Crimes against Humanity and Genocide. The book follows the lives of those 4.
