Title: Christmas present up on the wall
Post by: Superspy on January 05, 2024, 04:40:34 pm
Saw these stadium illustrations on here a while ago. Asked for one for Xmas and just put it up - thought you guys might like it. Need to add the Keepmoat one next.

SERIOUSLY It would make a good jigsaw

tOTALLY BY CHANCE ...

Lest we forget when Grobelaar played for Crewe that's the very spot ( a few yarDs from the corner flag) he took a throw in from ( it was the second half from memory) . He threw it to a defender in the penalTy area who waited for him to run to him and dive on the ball !!

So presumably for Grobelaaar to do it we must have been winning ??

Not a lot of people know that - someone must remember it.

update

it was

Doncaster Rovers v Crewe Alexandra, 22 April 1980
Score   1-1
Competition   League Division Four
Attendance   2,498
