Bitter Suite. Fabulous band  Wolfie. Saw them countless times.

Including at Rockware Club where I remember 50 years on Baz's opening comments

They played first song , then he said " hi , hello , welcome to our Front Room , and if anyone wants to dance there a Beermat just down here " while pointing to the floor in front of the Stage

Some top groups and singers from the 60s started doing cabaret in clubs in late 60s and early 70s.
The best i saw was Billy Fury twice at the Radburn club.

Coyote.

Once saw PJ Proby at the Yarborough club. Pretty decent actually, but there were only about 15 of us in the audience.

It's sad to reminisce about how great Bentley used to be regarding top-class entertainment provided by big Social clubs such as The Yarborough and The Comrades every weekend, especially when you compare it to the ghost town it is now.
