Just looked at the past 2 1/2 seasons on the road, it’s not very good reading, and got to give some massive applause to all the away supporters who go on a regular basis, it reads
Played 59
Won 10
Drew 13
Lost 36
Goals for 48
Goals against 111
43 points from a possible 177 points

Wow , that is shocking

We lose almost 2/3 of all away games.
You go to watch 3 away games and we will lose 2 of them.
Choose carefully!

My record this season is been to 7 away, won 3, lost 3, drawn 1.
I've really enjoyed 6 out 7 of those.

111 goals! I knew it was bad but that is rank. Dismal. Embarrassing.

We have to become hard to beat, home and away. We have to start doing the simple things right. Nothing fancy, keep the ball out at our end and take chances in the oppositions half. The manager has to give the players clear instructions what he expects from them. We need partnerships building, players taking responsibility for the team, not waiting for others to change things.
We have such a poor record because whoever is manager, is having to patch a side up. There is no understanding being built with players because it’s play a couple of games, then injured for months. Too many young players leads to inconsistency. Older players that haven’t maybe got the legs any more trying to drive the team. We need experience that still has something left.
Stay in games, if you can’t score, don’t give the opposition anything. You will get a chance at some point.
