Title: Corner routine v's Wigan.

Looks like something from the training ground but it didn't work.  Was at 67 mins.

We didn't score but I didn't think it was terrible, basically it was an elaborate short corner where the players ran in to the box except one (Hurst?) who picked the ball up short and tried to work the overlap and shot / cross. We looked much more creative yesterday than we have recently.

A bit like the train that England have used in the past. Except they form up in the corner of the area

Tried something similar at Mansfield. I was in the Mansfield end and all the locals round me started laughing.

I like that we are trying different things with the short corners.
Generally it is better than just putting the ball into the six yard box.
Things might be a bit more varied though now we have McGrath who is very good in the air.
He almost put a header away against Wigan.

Agree. Overall this season we have looked a lot more dangerous from corners. Been quite innovative, definitely some work done on the training ground.

Tried it numerous times in the past and I don’t mind seeing differant ones even if it doesn’t work
