See if he wants to start coaching, his playing career is good as over.

Gutted for him. He’s had a terrible time this last few years.

That’s back to 10 players either injured or recovering. From Jon point this will be his third operation since the end of last season.

That’s a shame. His work rate made a big difference when he came on last week. Showed we lack pace and energy.

Gutted for him. Comes across a proper sound guy and he always gives 100%.

He was looking really sharp as well.

It’s an issue for us for the rest of the season too because we only have Kyle Hurst and Biggins off the bench to replace the attacking front 4, and they aren’t good enough.

I guess when Zain is back he could be an option more advanced where Waters played?

Thankfully Adelakun, Ironside and Moly are fit and robust so should stay fit.

Really feel for JT
He always gave 100%
For any player to have such a horrendous time with injuries must be sole destroying.
Think he may well have to hang his boots up now.
If we release him this summer which surely we will now, then I wish him well in whatever he goes on to do.

He’s had some really bad luck and I feel so sorry for the guy, I can totally empathise with him, having had to retire from playing at 28 due to a serious knee injury although it was rugby rather than football. Even now I still miss it

I don’t think we ever really saw the ‘best’ of Taylor.

He had pace to burn but his final ball or attempt on goal were more often than not disappointing.

Sad that clearly he’ll never play professional football again.

Awful news for the lad. Agreed we’ve not seen the best of him. Just as he gets going he has another long term injury. Must be devastating to have to deal with mentally. Hope this one is not a career ender but you do wonder.

I'm sure the Club will look after him even when he is out of contract as they did with Wright

Feel for JT. Its staggering how much bad luck this club has had with knee injuries.

It’s frustrating that we haven’t seen what he is capable of because of the obscene amount of bad luck, Jon has had with injuries. I just hope he still has the will to keep fighting for his career. Players like him, who rely a lot on pace, tend to get injuries more regularly but he has had more than his fair share. We would have done better if he played regularly for us.
