Wonder how much they have spent to be. 10th about to have 3rd manager of the season . If they have overspent and gambled next year could be fun
-
Didn't they get rid of Mowbray when he was doing ok
-
.....and Palace have appointed Scott Bakula from Quantam Leap....
-
John Coleman gone at Accrington. Some underlying issues there.

Bit of a cold departure message for a bloke who’s managed nigh on 1100 games for them.

Couldn’t cut the mustard anymore
-
Wonder if it was by text message?

Apparently, they’ve swapped milk for lemonade in the canteen. That might explain their downturn in form.

Someone will snap him up, excellent manager. Deserves a club who will give him a decent budget, done wonders with Stanley for years with next to nothing.
-
He’s done a fantastic job there. You have to wonder though. He’s basically played and managed his entire career in about a 25 mile square radius of Lancashire and Greater Manchester. He’s also 61. He probably needs to have exactly the right opportunity in exactly the right part of the country to have a chance of making something work again. Big ask.

With the budget he has had he has to be the best manager in the EFL over the last 20 years.
Something has gone off definitely. He has fallen out with the owner it would seem.
Club are struggling financially not surprisingly.
Gates of 2.300 ave.
Very difficult to operate on that in the EFL unless you have someone putting in at least 2 million a year.
-
Wouldnt surprise me if he ended up at Salford!
-
He has done that much with nothing he should be the England manager.

Won’t go to Salford because I doubt he would put up with the owners interference

When we were going to play them in the FA Cup, there was publicity about the owner being fed up with everyone and everything at the club and wanted to get it off his hands. At the time it seemed surprising that he was hanging on to Coleman, so it was all pretty toxic.
I made this point when we played them at the time - late October, and referenced this article: https://www.thebusinessdesk.com/northwest/news/2122912-accrington-stanley-put-up-for-sale-by-owner-after-saturday-night-social-media-row

Will be interesting to see who they bring in, they will be working on a very tight budget I'm sure. Coleman was very good at bringing in young players & loans, playing a certain way & making them hard to beat. Personally I think they'll struggle to replace him succesfully & they'll fall like a stone.

They’ve appointed John Doolan on interim basis. He fits their profile. Let’s see.
Not that JD btw.

So how many managers have gone in L2 this season. I’m guessing at least half?

Our Dools is the centre forward scouting manager at Brighton now. He's obviously doing well for himself to have landed that gig at one of the best recruitment setups in football.

This made me chuckle - surprised no-one else has commented so thought I would salute you, sir! I love a good back-reference to an old advert.
