Just watched the end of this.
VAR deemed the high boot at the end by doku was fine and no penalty.
Yet tommy rowe earlier in the season sees a straight red card and a suspension for a high boot which i dont think was anywhere near as bad as tonights
Guess some teams at higher levels get away with more

There have been numerous instances in our games where a boot has been higher with no punishment.
-
Give over Rowe made contact with the player with his studs showing

Ok maybe me saying tommys was nowhere near as bad is maybe over the top but tommy didnt see the player coming from iver his shoulder who also dipped into it. Yes foul and possible red card on basis of dangerous play.
But doku saw the liverpool player coming towards him and still put his foot up into his chest and didnt even get the ball. Why is this not even a penalty or a red card?

Similar to the Jamie McCombe incident v Brentford back in April 2013. Michael Oliver had no hesitation in giving a penalty that afternoon.

With his back to the opposition player ?

Doku one a def pen for me. Tommy's was a free kick against, and would maybe have been a pen had it been in the box, but I definitely don't think it was a red - player came round the side and got the side of Tommy's boot, him moving in to Tommy - Doku went full DeJong and gave him the full set of studs in the chest.

doku won the ball 1st then caught the player but not with all studs showing, how however I thought it should of been a penalty, for me Rowe was totally differant doesn’t matter if he saw the player coming or not it was dangerous and that is why he got sent off

Instantly thought exactly the same. Problem is we are called Doncaster Rovers and they are called Manchester City.
Penalty all day long and a complete bottle job from all concerned. Unless of course studs in the chest is a completely fair and square challenge anywhere on the pitch.

I always rated Oliver but he has seemed to have become very reliant on VAR on what might be considered contentious decisions
-
I thought the Liverpool player was a yard short and jumped in to try and con a penalty, even turned his body to nullify injury.
Liverpool have been one of the biggest winners in the questionable decisions not just this season but for quite a few years, not a problem for me for them to come out the wrong side for a change.
I bet Fulham were laughing.

Liverpool are a miles bigger club than Man City. I don't think it's a case of it's Man City.
