Players will be named in due course?

Before or after the season ticket deadline day? ;)

If Adelakun agrees to join us, I think the sales will definately go up a notch.

I’m not sure we can sign Adelakun yet only a pre contract agreement so he can’t sign until transfer window opens. So it will be players extending contracts

Benson& Hedges!

Mark Benson and Bernard Hedges were two very good opening batsmen with long careers and each approx 18000 first class runs. Unfortunately they never overlapped or played for the same team - would have loved them to open together while B&H were large cricket sponsors

Appreciate that, Steve, and I wasn’t trying to infer that we would be signing him now - just that if he eventually finds the pen, there would be a surge in sales. You just can’t beat laying down a marker and it would certainly be seen as a statement.

Surprise surprise - Glamorgan. Saw him a few times when they played at Swansea
