Totally agree. Was actually clear and could hear what was being said. He interacted with the mascots well and introduced teams etc clearly.
Yet another one in the running for MOTM!

Yeah I thought he was an improvement. I could hear the half time interviews with the players for a change.

Speaking of the microphone, who was co-comms on ifollow? Kit man maybe? Thought he was excellent, really enjoying himself.

I was a guest in the hospitality area last season and the usual announcer took us on a pre match guided tour, he was pleasant, organised and very knowledgable, he did a very good job.

The usual announcer is on holiday this week, the bloke last night was really good, even announcing the starting 11 getting the crowd going, first time in ages I've heard each player being cheered as they were being announced.

Think the PA system is still "pants" and I like regular guy and his stand in was good too
Perhaps he shouted rather than talked ( as the noise in Stadium was loud ) and that made a difference

He was really entertaining, enjoyed his contributions
Somebody posted on lucky pint that he was the former kit man. I would be happy if he was on every week.

He’s leaving us soon. Think he is a York City fan. Agree he did a good job last night.

Seemed to gauge the atmosphere perfectly in fact he added to it.

I have to agree I thought the announcer was excellent. No offence to the usual guy but its sometimes good to have a change.

All sounds great, i wish i'd been able to hear it, don't know if its just me but in the south west corner it all sounds like loud farts!

At least that is improving from all of the sh!te that we are used to, we can now fart safely.
