I’m sure he just wandered into the ground and picked a flag up, he didn’t have a clue!

A couple of times 1st half he was just daydreaming, must have been thinking about sex or what he was having for his supper because he was miles off play
-
East stand Lino was on the money though for the off side decision
-
Didn't deserve the abuse he got though. Nobody in any profession does. Kids as well. Long way to go in the battle to end offical abuse, and them making bad decisions isn't an excuse

Stop being so soft. Nothing personal to the ref/lino. If you can’t take being called a w**ker then go sing in a choir or go play the violin.
If you had 10,000 people watching you clean windows and you missed one of the windows then refused to go clean it but still took the customers money then I’m sure you would get called a w**ker too.

Is exactly the knuckle dragging attitude that makes it so funny. Your analogy is just daft. Which lino took your money and then refused to go back on their decision :suicide:
He made a couple of wrong decisions but he wasn't that bad. Big wow.
Little kiddies with small  syndome calling a ref a w*** because he didn't put his little flaggy up in time :crying: me is man, me is tough, me shouts

Oh and mocking people makes you he better person doesn't. This fight for the moral highground bores me senseless. Venting one's spleen is a big attraction for many t football. Rather than undermine fans passion jog off and invent your own analogy
-
Anyone who goes to watch football knows its tribal, its all about passion and emotion, if you hanker for the complete opposite you go a sit in a church.
No ones perfect and everyone makes mistakes, it's when you see someone making the same mistakes over and over that passion and emotions run over and then people let rip. Its a natural thing for humans to do.
These officials have to lean to take flack from small clubs like ours, what would they do if they ever managed to progress into the big league? stand there leaking from every orifice?

Good job it wasn't female or from a minority, otherwise they'd have been in the firing line from you.

Some of the throw in decisions were appealing.
-
The one when Maxwell was booked for catching their throw in, the lino first flagged for us the ref said opposite Maxwell saw the.limos flag for us, before he changed his mind, turned saw they had taken the throw thought it was ours and caught it and gets booked for it.
The.lino missed at lest 3 offsides in the 1st half and I'm certain wouldn't have flagged for their goal being off of it had been scored in the South stand end

Honestly I despair at the harbingers of dòom.ive brought my children up not to be scared of feelings. I am educated and my life experience suggests that narrow minded who follow a predictable edict can offer nothing to the wider conversation

Doesn’t like anyone anyone speaking badly of an official but talks about little kiddies on the internet. I know which camp I’d rather be in pal. Need to get your hard drive checked

When was the last time a Referee or a Referee's assistant (Linesperson etc etc) got the sack for making the wrong decisions?
and now how many managers, coaches , trainers , players etc have been sacked because of the cock ups by the games officials?
how many managers, coaches , trainers , players etc have been have been banned for so many games and or had to pay a massive fine imposed by the FA because of the cock ups by the games officials?
How many referess and other officials been TOTALLY banned (NOT dropped from the Premiership list to the proper football leagues championship, league 1 or 2) .
How many referess and other officials been FINED for their cock ups
ENOUGH SAID eh?
-
The pyramid of referees makes no sense.
If a premier league ref makes a mistake, they get demoted to the championship.
If a championship ref makes a mistake, they get demoted to League 1.
And when a League 1 ref makes a mistake, they get demoted to our League 2.
Its no wonder we have absolute dross officiating game after game.

Not too sure about that but the offside flag for their ‘goal’ definitely was!

I thought the whole point was to put huge pressure on the official in order to ‘persuade’ his next decision to be favourable. Nothing personal nothing tribal just sheer pressure.

I waste my breath every game telling Lino to get the thrower somewhere near when the ball went out. Then half of them are foul throws anyway. Giving the throw the other way in both circumstances would soon get players taking a correct throw from near the right spot in most cases.
-
As a chap near me always shouts " watch his feet lino, watch his feet" they never do

You see foul throws all the time these days, absolutely obvious ones that you would not get away with in Sunday Morning football. I have no idea why they now seem to be allowed in the professional game, makes my blood boil.

Using the same warped logic....a freight train has derailed today near Reading. Looks like the driver passed a red and it hit the catch. Loads of people delayed, all paid good money.....quick get down and call him a wan**r, tell your kids to do it too. Get really angry and abusive at him. Then do it more every time he does something more that you think is wrong. Go do it, you'll feel more like man I guarantee. Pint and accumulator on before you do it too cos it's even more manly
