To get as many in the ground for this Saturdays game. Should they roll out a promo?
-
I think there will be a decent crowd this weekend. Not Wrexham levels but it will be decent.
Look at our Tuesday night fixtures this season and you can see Walsall (6,487) was about 15% up on comparable Tuesday night games. I think plenty will be up for Saturday.

Where can you find the info for the attendances?
I've tried looking but can only really find it on the twitter feed for the match
-
BBC Webpage has it on the rovers match page at the bottom of the lineups showing 6487

As a long time campaigner for putting offers on, at this time, as I said prior to the Wrexham game, why should we undersell ourselves? Of course we would like to see full houses, but if we want to be successful going forward, folk will have to get used to paying a fair going rate.
When you consider how much it costs these days for dining out etc., the cost to watch a game of footy at Rovers is very reasonable.
The merit of the game and where it could potentially lead to should sell itself to the Donny public, particularly those who don't attend as much as they used to. We are the ones who should be encouraging friends and family to dust down their shirts, scarves and hats for another outing.

while i agree with most of your post many fans that have been to the odd game over the last 3 years have been treated to really poor football, putting offers on and showing them things have changed wont do any harm

We've a massive stadium for our size of crowds. Accrington will bring about 300 - make it cheap, get kids in and get it busy. It's a far far better place with a good crowd in.
We've been basically shite since Covid, get people in and excited and they will keep coming.

Apparently it’s academy day so should be more kids hopefully they drag their mates and mates parents along
-
The problem is that if you do reduce the price to ridiculous levels then you attract those that only attend when its dirt cheap or virtually nothing.
The price per game is already some of the cheapest in the EFL, people who do attend when its virtually free will not turn up at the next game. The records over the years have shown that to be the case.

I think there will be 8000 there. Be lucky if Accrington bring more than 150. They've nothing to play for, losing every week as well.

Except on Tuesday night away at Newport, winning 3-1.
