I posted earlier this season that my young lad has been to 4 Rovers games, all in the tough period since the COVID seasons and we’d lost all 4 and only scored one goal (Walsall away last season which was the last time I took him).
He started thinking he was a jinx and this year was the first season of his life that he hadn’t been given a Rovers kit as he was embarrassed to wear it, we’re not local and he loves his football but prefers Man City instead like his mates and didn’t want to come to any more games. Heartbreaking!
Took him to his 5th game tonight and he’s gone to bed refusing to take his new Rovers shirt off.
Thank you Grant!

Great news hopefully we can keep picking up more young fans ready for the next generation, also those fans that haven't been in a few months or seasons remember you are always welcome back to get behind the lads

Brilliant story
One for the future , when you get it you get it
73 still going strong and all thanks to my Dad , an import from Wolverhampton who had me a first generation Yorkshireman and made me a Rovers fan who watched Wolves with him whenever possible
Thanks dad and you would love the current run of your adopted Team and your original loves aren't doing badly either

Lovely story.
Wrap his City shirt around the empty toilet roll holder for him
