I'm in France for the play-offs so will be checking in with the Lucky Pint. I hope the internet & Ifollow keep up.

17:30 - a date for the nervous of heart and a hope of a positive 90+ minutes of footie.
It's been a wondrous 2024, from near the bottom, to a chance of PROMOTION! :woohoo:
-
Everything looking ship shape for the match, bunting in pace and kegs all full of lucky beer!
-
I'm gonna miss part of the first half. Ferry is late ffs
-
I’m checking in to see Inn before the match, and sees who’s around.
-

For Rowe?

I hope that it is better weather in Crewe than here in Bradford. Very heavy rain and thunder and lightning.
-
Windmill , Thorne section is up and running

It’s very localised Dave, no rain in Skipton but we’ve had a downpour in Sutton
-
Right guys, I’ve brought a ‘Grab Bag’ of Honey Nuts so dive in!
-
Beautiful day here in Branton. Hoping that’s a good omen. Nerves are kicking in now. Come on Rovers.

Can we have a lock in if we win?
-
Bought a day pass to Now TV for £14.99 then discovered the Now TV app on my smart tv has disappeared since I last saw it!
Last minute panic but fortunately we have a Roku stick on our other TV and that has the Now TV app, so I’m saved.
Can’t do with last minute panics, not good for my heart!
Logged in now, waiting for kick off.
-
Good luck everyone. Great to see a full strength team. More of the same please Grant and the boys.
COYR.
-
I’m cracking open a box of brew dog lost, pizza, chicken bits and fries on the go, with some dips for good measure. Feel free to have one, no double dipping you dirty beggars!
Very nervous right now - come on the red and white rovers.
Let’s have a sing song:
In donnys fair city,
Where the girls are so pretty
I first set my eyes on sweet Molly mollone
As she wheeled her wheel barrow
Through the streets broad and narrow
Crying
:clapping: :clapping:
:clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

ROVERS!

Matty Blair in away end with Donny fans

Just done a trip to Preston & back, fine both sides, some right downpours in the middle, seems to be heading east if anything.

Yes, likewise. Weirdly not liking all the pre match chat about us being favourites
-
Matty Blair in away end with Donny fans
And how does he get a ticket in front of people who have points?
-
Technical issues with i follow...... as usual.
-
Ko in 3 mins, the suspense is killing me.
-
So many empty seats behind goal at the Crewe end
-
Listening from Croatia... straight on no problems..
-
Right then… let’s have it.
-
So many empty seats behind goal at the Crewe end
that's their family stand - plenty of spare seats in the main stand too...
-
Very nervy at the back.
-
We really haven’t settled yet at all
-
Bit naughty on Mols there by Williams.
-
very fine quality free stream here, for those with few morals...

-
Very nervy at the back.
Wood's had a dreadful few minutes...
-
Patience.
-
20 mins in. The game Will settle a bit now...
-
shift in the balance of power over this last few minutes - hopefully that's a bit of opening uncertainty out of the way...
-
is there any facility for these matchday threads to be turned 'live' by the mods - so they auto-refresh when there are new posts - see that on a lot of other message boards ???
-
Yessssss moly
-
Get in
-
Mathew Craig yes sir!
-
Beautiful. Great take by Mols - difficult chance.
-
quality finish that - very well taken - and suddenly it's almost-one-sided....
-
Ooh Biggins!!
-
jesus - Adelakun needs to pull his finger our of his arse - more attacks foundering at his feet than by the intervention of any Crewe defenders...
-
The Crewe pitch is traitorously slippery. I hope our lads have their wet weather studs readyat half time.
-
jesus - Adelakun needs to pull his finger our of his arse - more attacks foundering at his feet than by the intervention of any Crewe defenders...
Typical of him though, isn't it? He'll frustrate you 4 or 5 times then pull some magic out, that's what you get with him.
-
Crewe generated virtually nothing other than the threat from those long throws - Rovers far and away the better of the two sides and really should be a regulation cruise to victory if we can weather what I presume is going to be a high-octane start to the second half by the home side...
-
First 20 minutes: Nervy, long throws, slips.
Last 25/30: Juggernaut Donny.
-
He was a vital part of that goal - a real team goal
-
We looked loads better when we finally started to pass it rather than just hitting it long.
We need to score next as they still look a threat.
Also ground staff need to be pulling the advertising boards closer to the pitch ready for Friday
-
We’ve not been at it for two thirds of that half, but we’ve gradually gained dominance, Crewe had a bit of a meltdown after we scored
-
Slow start, but once we started moving up through the gears, you can see the goals coming....
-
Crewe were surprisingly energetic giving us no space at all. Then as soon as we scored, Crewe became surprisingly defensive, just allowing Rovers to take the initiative.
-
In a bar in Fuerteventura . Full of Crewe!! Sat on my hands. Well i was !!!!
-
Looking good so far....
-

yup - I'm expecting him to go on a mazy run that ends up in a penalty - there's no way that defenders can front him up with any conviction, as even he doesn't know where he's going, let alone the opposition
-

oh right - they're all there instead of being at Gresty Road are they - explains the empty seats everywhere !!!!

Absolutely. Not his best half, but he bagged an assist and would have had a 2nd with a bit of luck.
-
Need to run at the Crewe player on the booking get him panicking and draw the foul and hopefully another booking
-
Anyone fancy a pint?
-
Guinness please.
Can you do a co@k n balls on it?
-
Let's keep a clean sheet and have another couple
-

switch Hakeeb down the channels on Demetriou's side - guaranteed chaos and a red card...
-
Anyone fancy a pint?
working through a collection of McEwans Champion Ale bottles - things are likely to get increasingly incoherent as the second half wears on... ;)
-
Guinness please.

A shamcock?

The power of the pint.
Spilt half of mine, another cock n balls please
Here you go, Cookie. Slainte.
-
disappointingly the Crewe manager has spotted the weakest link in their midfield and replaced him - they might not be quite so feeble through the middle now...
-
Just got home in time for the 2nd goal.
Someone get me a beer in, I'm knackered
-
if Crewe kept our allocation down to avoid the home support being outsung by the Rovers fans, they really shouldn't have given us more than a couple of hundred tickets - for a 'big' home game, they have been utterly pathetic throughout - what a complete embarrassment...
-
Clicked into gear now.
-
My Dingle friend has just informed me that Roy Ironside (Joe's Grandad) was a goalie for the Dingles and Wayne Biggins (Harrison's dad) was a centre forward for the Dingles too. A small world is South Yorkshire!
-

Here you go mate. Off down the Rockmount afterwards?
-
Wayne played for Sheff Utd.
-
Not Hakeebs day. Time for Hursty.
-
Anyone else feel haks is a little off it tonight?
-

That'll be the Barnsley family,incestuous
-
Maxwell’s turning into a hell of a player.
-
heh - according to the sky comms, we've just seen 'Crewe's best spell of possession of the second half' - was absolutely shitting myself as they strung those three passes together
-
Hurst coming on.

i'm sure it will have been a few old Donny boys taking advantage of slutty Barnsley mares - they should be pleased, our genes keeping the finger-count down to manageable proportions on their side of the great north road...
-

I thought he was in the Gillingham game too.

Na, although might go on Thursday. The Balcony gig is on and it's Liberation Day
-
Not Haks day today, it just wasn’t falling for him. Plenty of effort though
-
Didn't want to say it earlier to jinx anything but Crewe look .... really poor.
-
Don't say it
-
What’s James Corden doing in nets for Crewe?
-
80 minutes gone, 2-0 up, it is time! GAME OVER!!!!!
-
Anyone else feel haks is a little off it tonight?
I thought he was in the Gillingham game too.
don't think he's had much to feed off there or this evening to be fair - trying to make the most of not very much; have thought all season that we need a ball-playing defensive midfielder to 'quarterback' our attacking play and make the most of his runs which never bring as much reward as they possibly could with someone to pick him out...
-
Toilets need a lick of paint, there's graffiti in there that reads 'Peter Kitchen walks on water'!
-
Where's this f*cking sun come from?
-
Didn't want to say it earlier to jinx anything but Crewe look .... really poor.
they've turned in the sort of performance that their supporters have deserved...
-
I’d like us to get a third just to make it a mountain for Crewe.
-
Toilets need a lick of paint, there's graffiti in there that reads 'Peter Kitchen walks on water'!
you should've redecorated your place when the wife told you to...
-
Don’t want to concede late boys
-
Hope Craig off is just a precaution
-
Nothing silly now
-
Ironside MOTM on Sky
-
Ironside MOTM on Sky
A performance tonight that epitomises his season.
-
Ironside MOTM on Sky
quite right too - he's been marvellous
-
Very professional by the lads. Topless darts is starting shortly in the snug.
-
fantastic - but nothing that we're not used to - onwards and UPWARDS !!!!!
-
It'll be a miracle if we manage to hang on to Moly for next season. We live in hope
-
If we go up, every chance of keeping Moly I reckon.
-
If we go up, every chance of keeping Moly I reckon.
Yes please
-
All according to plan, even the lucky pint goal helper and topless darts!
-
No chance of keeping Mols. I heard pep has been watching on sky and is getting in touch.
-
that will do - first want was a clean sheet. Not over by far, but it's a great result tonight.
-
Just need same again on Friday without the slow 20 mins which I don't think will be repeated as we are at home with close to 13,000 rovers fans behind the lads
-

He played the ball in behind the defender for Craig, leading to the first goal.
-

Sure it said water in there, and not piss?
-
Haks had a good chance in the second half and won a corner, hopefully Crewe think he’s nothing special so not to bother with him at the eco power.
-
Regarding Hacks, he can’t be brilliant every game.
-
Yes all the other clubs watching he’s rubbish move on
