Bernard Hill has checked out - always liked him as an actor, particularly Yosser in Boys In The Blackstuff

The last thing I saw him in was Wolf Hall, where he played an exceptionally brutal and furious Norfolk. Excellent as ever.

I didn't realise he was nearly 80, a good innings. RIP.

Brilliant actor.

That scene in BFTBS where he stared at Graeme Souness and said "You look like me."

Brilliant actor. Played many great parts. The best of them for me were Yosser, Captain E.J. Smith, and Norfolk.
