…. Is the total number of people who have attended the two first legs of the play offs. I wouldn’t normally bother with the attendances of matches, but with all the monies going into the same pot then being divided in quarter shares it’s a little unfair.

If MK get 30,000 we’ll be laughing!

Bet Leeds felt the same when they were in the playoffs with us.

They are only selling tickets in the east stand and cowshed. Sounds like one whole side isn’t even for sale.
They even have a thread on their forum about getting tickets refunded for Saturday after the Crawley result .
And a thread gaining traction about boycotting the game.
Couldn’t have happened to a nicer club.

What is the income from these games from the TV/Sky money, compared with gate receipts??

Don't think the clubs get any TV money from the Play Offs.

EFL Rule 5.23
Income from television broadcasting of any match shall not form part of the proceeds of the match. (It goes into the general League Two pool to be shared out at the end of the season)
and 5.25
1. 50% of the Net Gate Receipts shall be paid into the Pool Account referred to in Article 35; and
2. the remaining 50% of the Net Gate Receipts shall be aggregated, Division by Division, and each Division's aggregated monies shall be shared equally amongst the four Clubs taking part in that Division's Play-Off matches.
So all we would get from the semi-final is 25% of 50% (12.5%) of the total gate of all 8 matches (plus costs for staging our game).

Leeds feel that everything is unfair, all of the time though - especially Paris...

I just thought it only applied to the final as that is on a neutral ground, it wouldn’t be so bad if we just sharing with Crewe

Thanks for the info Wilts - playoffs themselves are not the money-spinner I thought, it is the promotion that brings the big rewards.
