Raise the price of a kids season ticket by 190% while at the same time paying your players 50k+ a week and raking in record TV deal after record TV deal. The extra revenue on adding extra £200 on a kids season ticket probably barely covers a players appearance fee.
Agents and players = mercenaries. Instead of squeezing every little extra bit of revenue from a club and into their greedy pockets just get paid less. Salary cap can't come in soon enough

Can only be a good thing for lower league clubs.
The top flight is on its way to imploding by alienating the people, towns and cities they are representing.
Hope they all f**k off to their Super league soon.

Disgraceful always thought Wolves as a family/community club but obviously only after the money now.
They need to remember that they went bust before and without fans there would be no club

Greed is a beautiful thing isn’t it? The sooner they go and have their European league the better. Let proper local football grow.

What a club we have at our prices.

That’s very sad. I always thought Wolves were a proper club doing the right things. I enjoyed a visit there with Rovers.
It seems a few seasons of PL football means it’s time for them to say to the fans ‘Thanks for your support during the shite years but now we’re loaded we don’t need you any more’.

It's a disgrace. You can tell when McMasters was in front of the select committee of MPs, he's blinded by their own greed.

"Best league in world with best players in world' at the cost of totally alienating fans, making it for the rich only, extortionate TV deals, extortionate ticket prices and zero atmosphere. Stands full of rich happy clapping day trippers
Bundesloga might have the same winners over and over but £20 a ticket, beer in stand, fan owned clubs, amazing atmospheres.

The greybeards might remember that after Heysel and Bradford and a few other nasty incidents in the 80's Mrs Thatchers' government took a conscious decision to not only force all seater stadiums but also to remove the then existing supporters from the game. The 'flat cap' supporter yob paying his 50p entrance money and a couple of bob for a pie, a Bovril and a piss against a wall was destined for the history books whilst the 'prawn sandwich' mob paying for 'fine dining', a chance to mingle with their heroes and executive bogs with actual paper came in. The mechanism of achieving this was price. Along with shiny new all seater stadia came a fashionable and pricey game. Murdoch played a significant role in popularising the re-based product. He had to given the cost of buying his dominance and control.
This mindset has not changed in 30 odd years. It is clearly profitable for those with their fingers in the till. Why would anybody involved ever want to change that??

The Europeans completely showed us up yesterday, an amazing atmosphere in our own back yard. It's possible. And we were at the forefront of flags on poles, scarves, tifos in the 70s and 80s. Sit down and only clap when we score is the de facto English football fan

Real Madrid didn't. I've been to a German game. It's all choreography and planned. Literally saw the opposition score and the fans carry on like nothing had happened. Looked and sounded great. Not as real though as here.
