This is a hard one to answer.
Scotland to win or Germany to win?
Two big rivals of England.
But seeing as Donny is still officially part of Scotland, I’m going Scotland.
-
I hope they both lose!!
-
The pictures of the Scottish fans in Munich are great and no one is expecting any bother- do they put aside the Celtic Rangers rivalry when supporting Scotland?

Saw a quote on Twitter earlier from a reporter who said after speaking to Scottish fans they’re putting all club rivalry aside for the next few weeks.
Hope they enjoy themselves. May not come around again for a while.
-
Will be supporting Scotland tonight at my local in Berlin :silly:
-
Absolutely NOT
-
Yes, was born in Scotland, only lived there a few months, but mum and her family were Scottish.
-
The whole of Scotland cheer on whoever England’s opposition is, so NO.
-
No, absolutely not.
-
No, not a chance.
-
I hope Scotland win, Germany have got to be one of our challengers to win it, if the bookies are to be believed. Having said that, after watching us v Iceland it made me lose all interest in the Euros, don’t know if I’ll even watch it tonight. I’ve been more interested in following Grant’s rebuild of the mighty reds!
-
After deliberation, it’ll be the first time in 60 years I would like Germany to win.
Met quite a few Germans over in Spain recently and they are by far more pleasant (they even laugh at their lack of sense of humour) than any Scottish people I’ve met. ( I exclude Billy Bremner and Colin Douglas from this German bias)
-
Hope they get battered.
-
No chance.
-
Rather eat deep fried dog shite.
-
Backed Germany & France to win the tournament, so no, not supporting scotland.
-
In 1975 we battered them a Wembley. Along with a few more from Thorne I was at the back of the goal with the Tartan Army no bother at all with us in fact very friendly. I hope they win they’re an example to a few England fans.
-
Probably won't even be watching it
-
According to reports this afternoon there are 200,000 Scots in Munich for the game tonight.
That is 4% of Scotland's population, you have got to hand it to them there is no half way house with them.
-
Yes will always support all the other British and Irish teams except against England.
Why wouldn’t we. Why on earth would we want Germany or any other country to win.
Yes I am English and very proud to be English but I am also British and very proud to be British.
Rep of Ireland is full of British players as many of their players have a distant relative that was Irish  :)
-
I’ll be watching it , only because I’ve had a couple of bets on the amount of goals, corners, cards etc
-
Being half Scottish, I will be. To be honest I don’t hold much passion for England anymore.
A number of rangers fans support England and Celtic support Ireland. Not many of the tartan army are rangers or Celtic.
-
A firm no from me!
-

Englishmen and Scots are natural enemies. Like Welshmen and Scots. Or Scots and other Scots.
-
Would Scotland support us? Strange question
-
My family trace back to Scotland, however I’m supporting ze Germans tonight
-
No way. As much as I dont like Germany in football terms I will never wish Scotland to do well just like they wouldnt wish us well!
-
I'm half jock - so Scotland to win for me....
-
Find out Scottish neighbours more supportable than Wales. Very odd aggression from them when it comes to football. Don’t even have a professional league.
-
Nope,I grew up supporting England, and if we was out of a tournament and any of the home nations was still in I hoped they did well, but as time went on I became aware off their hatred for us and being deliriously happy when we fail,so I now return the favour and laugh when they fail.
-
Goodnight Scotland, shove ya Flower of Scotland up yer arse!
-
It’s all over now
-
A few of the Scotland team are English. Mctomminay couldn't sound more mancunian if he tried
-

Born in Lancashire.
-
Only six of their Euro 2024 squad were not born in Scotland.
-
Typical Jit jockery tonight!
-
I was up for supporting them and was willing them to do well tonight but oh dear ….
They haven’t even put up a decent show have they?
And with ten men it could get embarrassing now.
-
A few of the Scotland team are English. Mctomminay couldn't sound more mancunian if he tried
So what? Can’t blame them for casting the net far and wide for talent.
It’s not just Scotland. One of England’s starters on Sunday was born in the Ivory Coast.
-
If there's a worse sounding instrument than bagpipes I'm yet to hear it, my lord :suicide:
-
This Fullkrug fella has been studying Joe Ironside’s game
-
Poor team. Poor set up. Bye bye
-
Not a good night for Scotland the Brave, but the other 95% + of the bar were more than happy.

Feel like I should modify this post and put “talent” in inverted commas after that showing.
-
Really embarrassing performance

Our own Paul Green summoned enough Donny gall to play for Ireland  :chair:
-
Deserved to get hammered for that Porteous challenge alone. Dreadful.
-

I would think the vast majority of Rangers supporters are Scotland supporters. Not sure why you think they support England.
They may see themselves as British but they definitely see themselves as Scottish.
-
Reminded me of one of those very first pre season friendlies we all play just to give the lads a game in the legs .
Rossington v Doncaster Rovers
Barnsley v Athersley Rec
Parkgate v Rotherham United
The difference in class was embarrassing but saying that there's ways and means in making life difficult for a superior technical team and Scotland didn't even do that .
Great support mind .

They do, but a lot of Scotland fans don't support the big two, lots from other clubs. Celtic fans certainly aren't bothered on the whole.
Scotland never had a chance really they just don't have the attack to trouble teams but the manager has done a brilliant job.
Always found it tricky as a kid, grew up in both England and Scotland one English one Scottish parent. Hope Scotland do well (except against England).
-
Hope they get battered.
Battered mars bar.

-
Dreadfully disappointing for the Scots. Worst performance of the tournament so far in my opinion.
-
Anyone else see that lad in midfielder? Legs have gone, been released by his club so wouldn't demand a fee. Would probably come in as a decent squad player on a pay as you play deal. Could pay a decent pass. Tony or something?
-
Tony O’Deer.
-
Completely bizarre the dislike for Scotland on here.
I was 100% behind them last night, but it wasn't to be and was a tough watch.
Yes they want England to lose. But that's just friendly banter and rivalry.
They are britons, British and part of the UK. I've got a much closer affinity to Scotland than any European country, especially the krauts.
Not to mention our city's historic (and still running) connection to Scotland.
Mon the Scots!
-
Gunn should have saved the first and the fifth very slow on his feet. The tackle by Porteus was awful should have tackled better stayed on his feet and he would have stopped the shot hence no penalty and sending off. Germany were far superior but Scotland allowed them to do that they were no where near a premier league side. Even Robertson Tierney McTominay and McGinn were no where near their best.
Learning curve for them and Us you have to be at your best in work rate and skill if you want to win and progress.
-
My dad in law is a Scot, my mum in law is half German, so my lad has mixed blood in him, so deffo wasn't sure who to support... All a side show tho, the fun starts tomorrow nite....

I don’t think it’s bizarre at all, they despise us, there’s nothing jovial about it and it’s not banter they actively support whoever we play, glad they got bummed, hope it happens two more times and then they don’t qualify again in my lifetime, skirt wearing weirdos
-
Scotland the not so Brave.
Yes they were up against superior opponents but what that abject 1st half performance was wholly lacking in was courage.
No tactical courage to attempt to pose even a modicum of attacking threat, and no courage in possession of the football.
A pathetic performance.

Iceland showed that with the right tactics, you can compete against so called better nations...

Suggest you do your home work.

I do, thank you. I've been following Scottish football for decades and used to regularly be in Glasgow so know fans of both persuasions.
But I'm sure you know better.

You're lucky, J. I would love to witness an old firm derby. The chants of "Penny Arcade" and "Fields of Athenry" must be deafening.
I used to go in the old Irish club. They sometimes ran minibus trips to Celtic home games. I was all ready to try one, then the place got closed down.

Haven't been lucky enough to attend an Old Firm unfortunately, but been to Ibrox a fair few times, including the 3-2 win over Braga a few years back. Been to a few Scottish Cup games at Hampden as well. An ex partner of mine was a Celtic fan so that's put me off the other side of the city.

You'll have to give me your ex-partner's phone number.
Boy, do I love hooped shirts, both red and green. I draw the line though at Hamilton Academicals and Yeovil.
