OK, so it’s a useless transfer rumour site, on ‘X’, but they’re suggesting Stockport are preparing to make a bid for Owen Bailey!

I don’t think, for 1 minute, that this is true, but it does make you wonder if there will be a few Clubs circling this summer. A quick extension to Bailey’s contract wouldn’t be a bad idea, all the same.

He'd be a very good investment for an upper L1 team, he's young and will continue to get better, but can already contribute massively to a team, and is so versatile - he can play four or five positions really really well. He's the one I'm worried about keeping as if I we're owner of a Wrexham, Stockport, Peterborough, Plymouth sized club I'd be in for him in a shot.

In my opinion , knowing the family values that guide him , he will stay  where he feels supported , wanted, and at a club that he believes hold the same progressive aims as him .I know his Dad’s best mate !

We wouldn’t let him go.
No point in signing these young non league prospects, to develop and build our future around…just to let them go after the first year.

It goes against the point of getting these lads in.

Stockport just  signed midfielder Lewis Bate from Leeds (was on loan at MK last season)

I do not believe he will leave but neither do I believe our club would not allow HIM to decide .

Very good signing for them. He can dictate a game from the middle of the park.

Did you see smoke or just dust got a whiff ?

Honest opinion. He's not a league 1 player yet. Just can't see it happening.

He will be in 2025/26 with DRFC
Not only that he will be an outstanding player at League 1 level imo.
