That's a shame. He seemed to be doing well with the kids and we seem to be getting more promising young players through than we have done in a while. Assume he has something lined up elsewhere.

He's at Sheffield United these days I believe. Coaching in the academy as well.

McSheffery would be a good shout though if he'd come back.

  Paul Green has retired from playing?  John Buckley a great coach,
Steve Welsh a class act, and other good coaches at the club, and they will have some good applications from outside the club.
  Gary McSheffrey was really good and would not be a step back if he would return which I doubt, but would be a good appointment for the clubs academy and when he was here was liked, respected, and admired by the other coaches and staff who worked with him, and best of all a nice guy.
