Really poor that, fans suffer again
-
Bet Harrogate aren't happy with that. We will still fill it but not a Saturday out is it for the pubs
-
It's naff, but possibly works better for me, wife wanted me to do something else the day of the Harrogate game, win-win.

Thurs night football. Well that’s a 1st. At least it’s a local derby.
Before we know it Sky will invent an eighth day of the week.
7 days in a week won’t be enough for them soon.
Pleased Port Vale is not too far with it now being a 12.30 KO.
If it was Newport we would be setting off at 5.00 am

Remember, not one of us asked for this and doubt that not one of us wants this. Done to us, not done with us. Thought EFL was immune to this nonsense but clearly not. A terrible, terrible line has been crossed.

As usual fans are bottom of the pile, but surely clubs would have been consulted or even voted for this?
-
I think rovers did vote for it didn't they?
-
Greybeards: Rollerball. I hope James Caan will come amongst us...

Clubs are not fans. They got money waved at them and of course they signed up for this. We as fans never got asked.
-
Wigan away on a Thursday a few years ago, I recall.
Unsure whether our club did vote for this, however I suggest it would be difficult to vote on something you only know half the facts.
-
It wouldn't be as bad if it was like Port Vale same day earlier KO.
You just know know sky will screw us over next and move the Grimsby game next

That’s the thing, there is a bias towards the “good” games for the fans being moved as well. That’s what’s most annoying.

I think that South Yorkshire's finest will take care of moving the time of that at least...

The EFL have sold their soul. They have chosen to keep article 48 protected of not showing and 3pm kick offs hence this farce about games being moved to midweek and early slots. You can’t tell me moving games to 8pm on a Thursday is not going to have a negative inpact on attendances as oppose to the 3pm kick offs.
-
Might be useful to read the article & the Q&A that goes with it when the deal was announced. We know it's difficult for EFL to keep up with the Prem for TV income.
It will be interesting to see how attendances are affected for the selected matches but every club should benefit overall.
