Lads back in, Billy looking fit and well! That squad looks a force to be reckoned with this season.

They sent Faulkner to Ireland last week to give the others a chance in the running.

How’s the Faulkner camp feeling about the move to Ireland, Selby?

Hope they all see it as a positive step like we do.

All for it, he needs game time and he is back in November, the club have been great the back up and contact by Cliff especially and Grant has been first class, and the reason and positives were discussed by them and Bobby before he went over.
Other clubs were very interested but full season loans and not what the club wanted.
He has been received and treated brilliantly over there and has a lot to do to get them up the league if possible as they are second from bottom.
I liked the description one of the team answered a supporter when the signing was announced over there when asked is he any good on X, the answer was he is F***ing ace after training with him.

Really looking forward to seeing how Bobby gets on, ready to return for the winter period and heavy matches

I’m going to regret this I know but with Miller playing at very end of season, we have a fully fit squad for the first time pretty much in recent history?

I do miss guess the triallist! But how good is it to have quality signings all in ready for first day of training,  a full summer to bond and prepare. Compare that to a couple of years ago when we had all manner of waifs and strays throughout the friendlies! I remember Rosso a few years back asking Louis Jones who some of the lads were, and he didn't know saying they'd only arrived that day! Grant likes his business done and lads in - love it.

Sure we'll end up with a couple of trialists turning up through pre-season anyway, but it's a great feeling to know we're not desperately relying on signing them just to be able to field a team.
