Great article by Simon Jenkins in the Guardian. It's not surprising that Syd's not brought this to our attention. It doesn't put Starmer or the Ukrainian war in a very good light.

You need to work out the difference between an op-ed by a journo' and someone that has a bit of cred Steve.

jenkins:

'’One condition that Nato has emphasised throughout is that Ukraine’s war be strictly defensive. Nothing should escalate it beyond the country’s borders. Vladimir Putin should not be provoked into a wider conflict. This has meant no Nato weapons should be used against targets deep inside Russia. This discipline has mercifully held’’

''NATO’s boss wants to free Ukraine to strike hard inside Russia
Jens Stoltenberg says the rules on using Western weapons should be eased''

Always.
