Wow RIP was really good for us in the conference and a really nice lad
-
Never forget his winner against Dover in the 5-4 game at Belle Vue, one of my all time favourite moments as a Rovers fan, never heard such a loud roar from just over 2000 people.
RIP Glenn, thanks for the memories.
-
RIP Glenn, really intelligent footballer and played a big part in turning that first season around once him and Duerden clicked.
-
Condolences to his family. A good player and nice lad as we came out of the darkness. Really sad news.
-
As has been said, very sad news. I always felt that Glenn was unlucky at Rovers in as much as he was developing nicely and was expected to be offered a new contract, then Steve Wignall came in as manager late in the season and in order to be able to sign some new players, he just released all five whose contracts were at an end at the end of the season, one of which was Glenn.
I really enjoyed the Duerden and Kirkwood pairing up front. He played at centre back after he left us.
He became my username on here not long afterwards.
RIP Glenn

Really down about this when I saw the news yesterday. Awful stuff. Hope the club give this a mention on Saturday. RIP Glenn.

Think I read we will be remembering both Glenn and Brian Makepeace at the Accrington game

RIP Glenn.
I’ve just watched the goals from the Crook Town match, there’s a couple of absolute belters from from him
-
Very sad to hear this. A top lad on and off the pitch. One of those that gave us hope and gave his all.
RIP GLENN
