If Jimmy Hill scored 4 against Rovers in 1957 I'll give you that (I've no idea if he did, but I've got down someone even more famous as the answer.).
4th name not quite right, other two correct.

Jiimmy Hill scored 4 or 5 (Sources differ) for Fulham against Rovers, about that time - JR talks about it - I think it was his first match he saw. Just looked it up - it was 1958
Will guess Brian Clough, we probably played Middlesbrough at that time

9 Andy Gray?
You're stretching my knowledge Dutch. There is obviously an Andy Gray, then another Andy Gray who played for Leeds, but it's not the name on my card.

Yep.
-
Tom Huddlestone?
Did indeed score for Spurs against Rovers but not a name on my list. Semi-famous at best maybe.

The Andy Gray who became a commentator and played for Villa - I think we played them in ca 1987 when they dropped into Div 3. Don't know if he played against Rovers, but I can check Rothman's.
Edit: Can't believe it - it was 1970-71 we played Villa. I knew it was a Div 3 relegation season but I was nearly 20 years out  :headbang:
-
Don't you get a 20 years out T-shirt?
Rubbish Bramhall!
-
10. Harry Kane?
No. Played against Rovers but never broke us down.
He scored against us for Millwall.

Fair enough. Missed that one.

I always thought Jimmy Hill scored all 5 in a Fulham field day at BV. My Dad used to go on and on about it. For them that remember Jimmy Hill's chin, some wag yelled 'Get that bloody billy goat off the pitch!' My dad was there that day so I hope he got the score and scorer right!!

Think these are the only two missing. To give a further clue both are now media personalities.

In my defence Bob, as a mathematician I must point out that if you have scored 5, then you have also scored 4
P.S. 8 out of 5 mathematicians can't count, I am one of the minus 3 (or is that minus 4?)

:):):)
Can't argue with that Brian...!
