First managerial casualty hopefully Whiteman leaves now lol
-
What a ridiculous time to make that decision.
-
He did superb with Plymouth, and since he left, Plymouth have struggled. Hardly had a chance.
Crazy. Mind you getting beat 4-0 by Wednesday is a bit embarrassing.

Preston lost to the blades 2-0 on Friday. I watched it and Preston were terrible.

Plymouth won L1 with over 100 points after he left.

They've been turgid for a while according to a mate of mine and a quick skim of their forum suggests this should have happened a while ago. Last seasons good start when they were scoring every quarter chance they created probably masked a few things.

Thank you Prez, yes it was indeed the United lot, the Wednesday lot hammered Plymouth

Esp for Rooney , although he allegedly paid 200 quid for a packet of fags
Hope other Clubs see the potential to fleece him

Easy mistake, both begin with a P, much like mornings do..

Rooney is making quite a managerial career out of being unsuccessful.
-
Let's hope they don't show an interest in Grant, although I would like to think he would stick with us this time.
-
What Grant has done in a year, with the amazing run won’t have gone unnoticed.
However, TB and GB seem to have backed him big time, with support to develop the ‘wider’ club (eg medical side with DR) as well as what must have been quite some budget.
The fans loved his appointment, stuck by him when it got tricky last December/Jan time, regularly chanted the GM song.
He said he’s been happy here and there’s loads of scope, Rovers could get back in the championship if the improvements continue. Then he’ll have his pick at a top level championship club and not a basket case club as last time, and he’s still young too.
I’d be amazed if he let the Rovers opportunity slip for nothing less than a big championship club.

Lowe went to Risdale and said he thinks it’s time to leave. It was orchestrated by Lowe.
-
You've obviously got better connections
Preston said in a statement: "Following discussions that took place on Sunday August 11, it was mutually agreed that now was an appropriate time for a change to be made";

It’s on the BBC website..
-
What's the odds he's back at Plymouth within the next couple of months?

In that case, what a ridiculous time to resign.

Aye, so he could've said to him "I think it's time I was off" and Ridsdale agreed. Still a mutual agreement.

Having lived in Cornwall 30 years, and hating Plymouth, I hope not, Rooney and Plymouth deserve each other, I’m looking forward to this season more than ever.

Riddle said "The fact is he's gone, we didn't initiate it and we have to decide whatever next."

Very odd behaviour, resigning after one game? Almost as if they p*ss*d him off in some way and he’s trying to inflict maximum damage on them as revenge?
-
Apparently he only liked the Monday to Friday of management and couldn't handle the stress of match days.
