The Rovers site says it’s audio only, but perhaps that’s just the Rovers own feed that’s only available via sound commentary. It’s all very confusing.
-
Are you mixing up sky sports+ and Rovers+?
-
For domestic consumers, Rovers+ is only a live audio provider. It is not a live stream provider. That is now Sky Sports+.
-
According to someone I may or may not know, apparently it is not coming up on IPTV
-
Rovers+ owe overseas supporters an explanation tonight, they advertised every League cup game live on Rovers+.
They’ve just said it’s not available… pretty poor that.
Even advertising today that overseas fans can buy it for £10.
Sorry not good enough Rovers+

Someone told me it wasn't either but that for some reason it's working on the EFL04 Cambridge v QPR stream
-
I wouldnt be happy paying £10 and getting audio only

It seems that almost every other game is watchable except ours
-
Skysports+ event 9, no audio though

Yeah this is really weird...i "paid" a tenner earlier today but now they're saying audio only due to broadcast agreements. I say "paid" in quotes because i went through the entire ordering process including providing new card details but when i look on my bank nothing is there, and i haven't received a confirmation email... almost like it never happened
-
Is anyone getting audio on R+?
-
No!
Shambles, no video for overseas viewer either despite paying for it…
-
No audio here
-
Paid for audio and video, got nothing.
-
I’ve sacked it off and going to watch sheff utd v Wrexham. If I knew this would have happened I would have bought a ticket and gone
-
Same
There’s no help function either like there was for IFollow.
Can the club put something out?
-

Seems to have come on now
-
It does say in the FAQs that League Cup games are not video streamed due to rights https://www.doncasterroversfc.co.uk/videos/faqs

Winner. Thanks

Still got no Comms on sky sports app
-
Finally got audio on R+
-
Finally got audio on R+
I still cant get audio despite having paid.
-
Got it now
-
Yep Audio on
Terrible quality, got two comentary’s ones well ahead of the other which is repeating itself .
Yeboah cleared off line twice now.
-
Nobody asked for the new TV deal that has caused all this, yet we have to suck it up. The iFollow service worked perfectly well, nobody was asking for anything to change.
-
Are you mixing up sky sports+ and Rovers+?
Yes I was, but I have figured it out now thanks. Perhaps they should have emphasised the distinction more.
-
All l’ve get on Sky+Red Button is ground sound effects dominated by the management shouting their instructions to the players, so it’s just like watching a match in person; I’m OK with that. At least we can read the numbers and names on shirts. There has been a bit of buffering, but nothing serious. At least we don’t get the irritating adverts at half time that iFollow put out.
-
I’ve suddenly got a commentary!
-
No!
Shambles, no video for overseas viewer either despite paying for it…
I logged on to Rovers+ in expectation that the game would be video live streamed. But no, only audio on offer apparently for the overseas season sub I paid. And the audio? Pretty poor as it was last Saturday. The media guy/team need a kick up the backside. I half expected this as a result of the delay in getting the Rovers+ overseas offering initiated and not trialing it pre season. It needs sorting urgently for the next and subsequent games.
-
That link posted by Iberian and PDX worked a treat, for free as well.
It would be interesting to know whether it will be available on Saturday and other future games.
-
I’ve emailed the contact us link on the website.
As an overseas viewer Rovers+ clearly stated a video stream and Audio for all Lg2 , EFLCup and BSM matches.
Even just before kick off tonight they offered a video pass for £10 for overseas supporters.
This has been replaced now, with a contractual message that EFLCup games are now not available.
Tonight’s audio was horrendous when it eventually came on. Quality was dreadful, and Liam Hoden should not commentate again or vastly improve quickly.
If you’re unfortunate enough to only have audio on Rovers+ I would recommend you cancel it to protect your sanity and get your money back.
I’ve had no reply as yet, and I’ve a feeling this will be swept under the carpet.
Can’t believe that the media team at Rovers+ can con overseas Rovers supporters as they have done here.
Great win by the boys was the big positive.
