I had been staying quiet about this not to jinx it, but the interviewer put the stat to Grant during the post match interview, so it is out there.
We have now scored in 23 consecutive league matches. The club record is 27 set in 1934-35.
The only other run longer than the current 23 (which was also equalled in 1983-84) was either side of WW2 - we scored in the last 5 matches of 1938-39 and in the first 21 matches of 1946-47 for a total of 26. Not sure if this counts.

Also just heard it from the interview. Amazing stat and sequence. Thanks for putting it into context. We've never had it so good.

Thanks Dutch…
Am I correct in thinking we are also 2 home games short of a home winning record?

Yes. We have won 10 on the bounce, the club record is 11 set in 1934-35
Last season our run of 10 wins on the bounce was ended at Gillingham. Will they be party poopers again?

Batter get the message to McCann, he loves to poop on potential poopers.
